Jon and Philly Soul in Germany ?!?

According to Bild newspaper, Germany's biggest dayly newspaper, Jon is planning to come over to Germany with Philly Soul in November trying to make Football more popular here. It is planned that Philly Soul play against Chicago Rush here.

The game should either be in Mannheim or in Hamburg. In Feb. and July more AFL-games are planned.

If they would play against a German team I maybe would watch this but I don't know why I should watch a game between two American teams.

Our AFL (Australian Football League) usually has an annual exhibition match overseas at the end of the season. The selected teams spend some time (a week or two) in the local area conducting clinics etc to promote Aussie Rules footy beforehand.

The New York Giants played the Miami Dolphins at Wembley stadium earlier this year and it was a complete sell out, so it's a similar concept.
However, I really can't see Arena Football having the same impact in Europe. The game is pretty much unheard of and other than having Jon connected to it, I can't really see why people would want to go and watch it.

I know Jon's talked about it. Thanks Chris for the info. :D
