Will BON JOVI be inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame next year?

These artists released their first recording in 1983, which makes them eligible for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008 (the induction ceremony will be held the year following the voting process, in 2009). (I'VE READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE VOTING RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED THIS SEPTEMBER, BUT I'M NOT SURE.)

Well I really hope they do and they have a decent chance but I'm not sure...

Where's Metallica? And shouldn't it be 25 years after the first ALBUM came out. That would make it 2009 sinceBon Jovi came out 1984.

I hope they get in but I'm not sure about getting into the Hall right away. Would be cool if they got that recognition though even though it would feed their already rather large egos.

Yea, Metallica released Kill Em' All in 1983 which makes them eligable. Bon Jovi didn't come out until January of 1984 so that wouldn't make them eligable. Hmm...

I think Metallica can't be in the Hall because the lost one musican and replaced him! and the rules say (as far as i remember) that a band has to be in the original formation.

Which is why Huey is not official

Don't know about Bj, but i think SRV should and will be inducted.
