The other day, I was stuck in traffic listening to Jovi and I got to thinking. Not much
else to do when you are stuck in traffic for several minutes.

You are the lucky one chosen to direct a video of ANYONE of Bon Jovi's songs. Your choice.
It could be a demo, a prev released single, or just one off any one of their albums. You can put other
celebrities in it or yourself. It is all up to you....so what would you do? What song would you chose?

Here is mine, I hope I end up making sense of these..
Song: Wedding Day
Characters: The Band of Course, And some 3 of the actors from the soap Port Charles playing their characters:
Jamal (Kiko E.) Allison (Erin.P) and Rafe (Brian G.) plus a cast of extras.

First let me give you a brief history of the characters I have mention. Jamal used to be with Allison, but broke up with her. She then found her true love with Rafe.

Here is the rough draft: The video starts with Jamal sitting in his apartment, trying to write a letter to
Allison. On his tv is Bon Jovi playing Wedding Day. Jamal is basically writing the words of the song.
Then it flashes to the church with Rafe and Allison getting married.
The video basically flashes between the band on tv, the wedding and Jamal sitting alone in the apartment.
Okay I'm much of a director, but I hope I made some sense. It all really looked good in my head- lol

Song: Something For The Pain
Characters: The Band, some girl, and some extra nameless people.

Allright, here's my story. The intro starts, and you see some feet walking, and then later you see a hand with a guitar suitcase. You see a hand opening the suitcase of a car (I was thinking of a Ford Mustang, a typical American Muscle car). Then, when the bass drum enters the song, you see the car speeding up in the left side of the screen, and on the right side you see tico hitting the drums. Then, when the part before the first couplet starts you see him driving on a lonely road. And at the part where he starts singing, you see him closup thru the left window which is opened so all his hair is waving in the wind (or however you call that in English). Then he has sung all his couplets and chorusses, he enters a gasstation, at that gasstation is also a smalle supermarket, a bar etc. When he enters the bar he sees the whole band playing except Jon ofcourse. Richie starts his solo, and when the solo is over Jon is seeing a girl at the bar. He walks to her and starts to sing his part, while Richie is singing his part at the background. At the moment when the "come on come on come on" starts again, Jon takes the girl outside, and takes her in his car. They drive away while the band is playing inside the bar, so you see close-ups all the time of the band members. When the song is finished you see the car driving away to the horizon.

Tryed to make a decent story, but I've got the idea my English isn't at it's best today...

Song: Bounce
Characters: Band, NYPD, FDNY, George Bush, U.S. Soldiers
Setting: New York, Empire State Building

Here is how it goes.....

The band is up on the roof of the Empire State Building.. American Flags all over and a chopper flying above the building taping the performance...
There are shots of NYPD and FDNY at the World Trade Center.. and others surrounding the building.. Guards are blocking the doors so fans can't get in... The band is jamming and red, white, and blue lights are attop.. Bon Jovi spotlights are everywhere... Now the fans break in and there is a huge concert at the top and everybody is singing...The fake news crew records it in disbelief.. Then George Bush makes a big announcment about the concert on T.V. and all of a sudden starts busting out the lyrics!! Then it turns to a hault, and Jon smiles... then he waves off and all of a sudden BOUNCE, BOUNCE!!! When the top is filled fans surround the bottom and it is just one huge concert... The music playing and the guys are all wearing something in relation to U.S.A Colors.. The song ends and FDNY takes all the fans away and drives them off.. The band is left alone attop..... as the chopper moves further away...

which of bonjovi videos would i direct.
 

:D 8) i would probably direct. everyday from bounce cd. i would film it in new jersey at a football stadium with everyone there and it would be a free concert and all and bonjovi would be havin a good time singin everyday and BONJOVI FANS clapping and it would have rodney dangerfield,and some of jons friends in the video were u see rodney passin bonjovi there instruments but rodney hands the wrong instrument too the wrong guy and all so rodney trys too fixs the mistake he did by goin on stage and try too change the instrument too the right guy and the fans are enjoying the comendy reliefe durning the concert and jon looks at rodney,and then goes back too playin and then rod,goes too richie and gives him his guitair and richie just plays his air guitair until rodney gives him his instrument too play and then goes too huey and gives him his bass guitair and then gives dave a high five and then goes too tico and gives him his drum sticks and gives tico thumbs up and then trys too run off stage but slips on some water and falls and then the band stops and runs over too rodney and help him up and bring rodney backstage and set him down in a chair and then they all ask rodney one at a time. jon starts off first and say this too rodney,-are u ok rodney,(rodney looks up at jon) rodney,-yes i will be thanks( ouch oh this hurts)then jon says too rodney,-u know u should havent been out there in the first places rodney.then richie,huey,and dave,-said,yeah rodney,u should have stay here and all too then it ends by rodney lookin up and say i dont get any respect at all.then it goes black the end.

I loved the video ideas that BonJoviBOUNCE02 and Supersonic had. Since I lack anything and everything that can even remotely be considered creative, I am going with a shallow yet satisfying (to me) idea.

Video: Jon is making out with me the whole time.

I think I would take the song"Edge of a broken heart".
Well def the band has to be in it.The girl would be Me..lol just jokeing how about Drew Berrymore.(Listen to the song while I write It starts out on the street of the town .When Jon ran into her and her new boyfriend ,and Jon get 's mad and tell
s Her how it is .Then when the song goes (He turn around)jon turns around and he is now singing with the band . The next part is shoot at her 1 level home .She is in the livin'room with her boyfriend and Jon is outside with a Navy suit on(the one he wore on U571)And he looks at them and sings while he is looking at them in the window.and he wish'es that was him .Then during the choris it goes back to the band on stage.

Then Richie's solo shots... then he smiles.

Then jon sings and holds out his hand in front of 10 million fans and sings the rest of the song to the crowed,and in the front row is Drew crying because she knows she lost him..

so what do you think?

Hi all:
I was thinking for a Bounce video, they could do it with David Bryan and Tico Torres as coaches at a basketball game, Bon Jovi's singing in the stands, kinda like U2s Stuck In A Moment. They'd have to do a close up of Jon for the pre-chorus, change the b-b-b-b-b to a basketball bouncing off the floor.

I kinda got inspired by the guy who was talking about the HMU video, here's my take:
Sets: A suburban home, Bon Jovi concert, a dilapidated house on the edge of Kabal, Afghanistan.
Actors:The band, soldiers, teenage girl, Arab Jon-sound-alike teenage boy, extras for the concert, that bald guy from The Agency.

Starts off in the girl's house, she's talking to the Arab kid on a cell-phone, holding it up to the TV so he can hear Jon perform HMU at a concert, etc. At the first set of Save Me's, you see soldiers running in the desert. Guitar solo, then the soldiers knock down the door. Focus on the band on TV, the girl, then for the last set of Save Me's, you see the desert again, hear gunfire in the house, see the cell-phone lying on the floor. Back in USA the girls holding the cell-phone out and hearing the shots, then static, as the boy's Save... echos around the room. Focus on the TV, a sad looking Jon walks off stage. The TV goes to static, and then the bald guy comes on saying how US soldiers staged a pre-dawn raid on a terrorist stronghold outside Kabal. Then you see the girl crying.
Good music, and an almost RAtM like video, it gives me chills.
