Yeah - I own it too and I have to agree. Live in NYC is one of the best live, official shows ever.

"Live in Barcelona" > "Live In New York" IMHO.
I know that's not the popular opinion though.

I don't think so for one good reason. The Barcelona concert was recorded very early on in the tour. In my opinion the entire setlist had not come together completely. Compared to the later concerts of the tour it just isn't as good.

One thing I did like about Barcelona was that It was the full show while NY was just Highlights from 2 different nights. But because of that there are way more songs on Live in NY and the setlist is better, except for Incident.

Off the top of my head, Live from NY only has one more song then Barcelona.
Honestly, both are great, but something has always made me dig Barcelona a bit more.

Barcelona is a great show but contains too many songs from The Rising. Ramrod is priceless, though.

You were right about the song count. But the setlist was so much better on live in ny, unless you love the rising. To refresh our memories:

Dancing in the Dark
Countin' on a Miracle
Spirit in the Night
Incident on 57th Street
Into the Fire

Disc 2
Night
Ramrod
Born to Run
My City of Ruins
Born in the USA
Land of Hope and Dreams
Thunder Road

Live in New York:

Disc 1:
My Love will not let you Down
Prove it all Night
Two Hearts
Atlantic City
Mansion on the Hill
The River
Youngstown
Murder Incorporated
Badlands
Out in the Street
Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out
Born to Run
Land of Hope and Dreams
American Skin (41 shots)

Disk 2:

The Promise
Thunder Road

I actually do love the Rising, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
Though my favorite period is the first 7 E Street albums.
Again, it's not that I don't think NY is great, I just really like Barcelona.
