What is Wanted about?
 

I had always thought it was about being on the road touring, but I recently found out that a friend did a bunch of work for Bon Jovi and Motley Crew and he says it is about some guy named Lee somethingorother who was really good to them and really crazy into drugs with them and the steel horse was his jet and he was 'wanted' because of the drugs. He said this was straight from Jon's mouth. Is that true?

I am just checking back on this...so the answer is it's true, or...what the Hell is going on here? Was there a guy associated with the band named Lee (producer,...dealer, I dunno) or not?

Wanted Dead or Alive is about life on the road as you originally thought. Mongoose just decided to be a cockhead and edited everyone's posts to confuse you.;)

You are partly correct, they're was a manager or someone associated with the band and Motley Crue who used to use girls to traffic drugs back and forth from the states to the Caribbean. This has been confirmed by the Crue in their tell all book "The Dirt". But Wanted has nothing to do with him. Wanted is about the loneliness felt on the tours by JBJ, RS and the others.

Interesting story about the drug guy though... Bon Jovi partied with the guy and the drug mule chicks in the Caribbean and one of the girls... was dumb enough to bring scissors just to cut off the drugs, which were taped under her clothes, if she got caught. She went through a metal detector on her way back into the states and needless to say, they caught the scissors and the drugs, and turned Bon Jovi's plane around to make sure they weren't smuggling. You can bet Jon and the boys were royally pissed.

Man there's always one geek hanging around, bet if you have kids you'll tell them there's no santa like the second they pop out :|
