See, I would say that Liverpool would still go through...if the leg was at Anfield. It'll be tough and Chelsea will probably go through but Liverpool still have a chance IMO.

It's today. If they score 1, we're in exactly the same position. We will still need to score 3 to take it to extra time. Chelsea have lost their last 8 penalty shootouts out of 9 or something like that...

If Liverpool don't score in the first half hour whilst keeping Chelsea at bay, I think it's a lost cause. It will be very difficult if Chelsea come out to actually play as their goal threat is immense with Drogba in the side. It will be interesting as Chelsea know how Liverpool will play tonight but nobody knows how Chelsea will set themselves out.

Should be a great game to watch for the neutral as long as Chelsea don't score first cos then it'll be a case of just playing out the clock methinks.

Ultimately, I'm not fussed who goes through though. I really dislike Chelsea but, thinking ahead, if United managed to claw their way through to the final and faced one of the two teams tonight, I'd sooner it be them.

Losing to Liverpool would be too much to bear given it's the missus' team. I'd also not feel so bad if United lost to Chelsea in the final as we beat them last year and Chelsea did go so close - I supported Bayern in Europe after '99 and was pleased they managed to win it not long after. Don't think they're gonna win it this year though. :)

Predictions for tonight? I reckon it'll be 3-2 Liverpool. I think they will give them a scare but Chelsea will end up seeing the game out.

you must be kidding me. the game in barcelona was played by our C-defense. Today we play with the nomal Lahm-Demichellis-Lucio-Oddo defense so Barca will have real problems scoring. I would bet for something like a 2-1 win for us or a draw.

Maybe it will... one at least :)
But in the end Barça will probably win.

I hope so for Bayern. It's crap when something a team's worked so hard to achieve is wrecked as a result of injuries and factors beyond their control.

Personally, I think 2-1 to Liverpool. I'll be gutted if that's the score as we would only need 1 more goal to take it to extra time at least. If we can 2 goals with 20 or so minutes left, they will panic. Then we would have to go all out for it. Just attack, attack, attack!

In munich, bayern SHOULD have scored at least a goal, they had 3 amazingly good opportunities. I am hoping that we win this game. would be good for the moral for the rest of the season. Again, if it wasn't for those injuries, I am sure we would have had a chance with the catalans. Next season, maybe with a new right-back and a proper goalie.

a bit of the shame was washed away. still, i think we could have got more had we risked more. our game was just a little bit too safe. then again, if toni scores in the 5th minute, the game can get a different twist.

Done nothing but fight today and we didn't deserve to get knocked out. Drogba done nothing but dive. They got 2 goals that were from his diving. We didn't give up and I don't think they deserved it.

I think it was thrown away when Reina made the error at his near post. It was Liverpool's game for the taking up until then and after Chelsea came back into it, you were always going to get caught going forwards.

Great game though. Not the scoreline I predicted (who would have?!?!) but it opened up after Liverpool got the first two goals! :D
