10 years since Bed of Roses share your special memories
 

For those of you who are new to bon jovi Bed of roses was the 2nd single released of the keep the faith album. It peaked at #10 on the billboard top 100 charts. They made an amaziing video for it. Jon Bon Jovi wrote the song at the four seasons hotel in L.A after a night of drinking with his friends. He felt bad that he asked the employees to bring him the piano and he didn't write a song. He sat down and wrote sitting here wasted and wounded on this old piano and the rest is history. Just wanted to share that.

My special memory of this song when I was 14 10 years ago the video came on MTV and I was on the phone with my then girlfriend. We where talking about how beautiful the song was and we kind of sang it together. I wasn't thinking of laying her on a bed of roses my mind was still innocent. I was just thinking how romantic that moment was. Looking back on it. It was a very sweet, innocent, romantic moment. Just the fact that bed of roses is very beautiful the words, the music everything. I am a hopeless romantic I hope to read some nice romantic moments.

I don't remember any special moments but I really loved the song from the beginning (I was 13 back then). I hadn't been such a big fan in a couple of years (when they had their "break") but this song really got me back into them. I used to sit in a dark room just listening. It's still one of my favourite ballads, such a beautiful song.

Well, I think about the song and of course I am only 16 years old so I don't have many memories.... Of course, I think that the song gives me memories of my current girlfriend... The song brings back the memory of our first kiss.... Aww, I think I am in love for the first time!!

The song is so poetic and its the video with Richie standing on that mountain that made me want to pick up the guitar. I think I have fonder memories of the video than the song.

Eh.. It's a great song..but I'm not much of a romantic. When I play it or sing it, I like it to be for someone else.. Not myself. x.x


Umm.. Bed Of Roses only brings back one memory.

I was in the car when I first heard it and I spilled ketchup all over my shirt. I still have the shirt today.

Bed Of Roses reminds me of last year, everytime it came on when i was with my other half it made me really happy and it still does cos it reminds me of all the good times we had together.
