Same here! Some Oasis, and whatever albums I don't get by them I will be buying most probably. :D

liljovi93 12-20-2008 10:04 PM

It's coming quick isn't it. Doesn't feel like it though.

Miracle 12-20-2008 10:48 PM

Well, it certainly looks like Christmas here. We got hit with about 15 centimeters yesterday. Every thing looks pretty, but it's an absolute bitch to drive it.

The novelty hasn't even started down here.

KeepTheFaith2211 12-21-2008 04:57 PM

Only 3 and a half days away now! :D

kenobi_on_a_prayer 12-21-2008 05:31 PM

Can't believe how cool it is for December here this year :? ... They're forecasting 28C for Christmas Day and that's meant to be the hottest day this week... Normally it'd be mid 30s or even nudging 40 by now!

Goldsausage 12-21-2008 05:50 PM

OH NO! Whatever will Australia do without a hot Christmas?! :o

jade4jovi 12-21-2008 07:23 PM

WTF, my advent today didn't even have a chocolate or anything in! I know it says it has "suprises" but that's just cruel. :(

The next 3 boxes are biggin's though. Exciting stuffs. What if Santa is actually in one of these boxes? :o

Goldsausage 12-21-2008 07:27 PM

I got my advent calender yesterday.

It's a Galaxy one and it sucks, I hate the caramel ones but there seems to be 5 caramels for every 1 standard nice tasting galaxy.

Grypweed 12-21-2008 08:47 PM

What was the point in getting one yesterday? Now you're not gonna know when Christmas Day is!

liljovi93 12-21-2008 08:50 PM

My Advent has been crap this year too. It's a Cadburys Variety one and i always get dairy milk caramel or dairy milk whole nut. I want the Mint one!!!

Then, me and my sister have this other one that's on the wall and we have 2 chocolates inside, again, Dairy Milk Variety. 5 days on the run i've had Dairy Milk Whole Nut!!! I might make a complaint.

I know :( And it doesn't even have the 25th! And we all know how slow I am, I'm gonna be celebrating Christmas on the 24th now :(

liljovi93 12-21-2008 11:30 PM

Is anyone watching "Clash Of The Santas" on ITV?
Very funny. Robson Green & Mark Benton are in it.

liljovi93 12-22-2008 09:23 PM

Wow. 2 and a half more days. It's going so quick, can't wait!!

Becky 12-22-2008 09:57 PM

Apparently there's a feud in my family so they're not planning a big get together this year. :(

liljovi93 12-22-2008 10:43 PM

Aww, i thought the same was going to happen this year.

KeepTheFaith2211 12-22-2008 10:44 PM

Same in my family, seems like trouble brews just before Christmas. Thankfully though I think it's all nice again. :)

Hope everything works out, Becky.

Ah Becky - that's too bad. No matter how much I fight with my family (and we seem to fight plenty) we always seem to get along when it matters.

No matter how bad the fight is - the bottom line is that it's family - and at holiday time you should at least be getting along.

Becky 12-23-2008 06:11 AM

Thanks for the well-wishes. I don't think it's going to work out though. I didn't know it, but this feud between two uncles has been going on for almost a year now. They need to just get over it. I guess it's easier to keep the fight going because they're brothers-in-law, not brothers. Next year if they're still fighting, I'll just invite them both to my house and they can either come or feel like jerks for not coming!

jade4jovi 12-23-2008 11:32 AM

Oh man, that's why I have a huge family and don't even see half of them! Well, actually that's because a lot of them are nuts/assholes to put it nicely. I actually turned out one of the better ones and that's saying something.

That's too bad though, Becky. Me and my sister argue like cat and dog all the time, and it doesn't change on Christmas either. I shall be spending a lot of Christmas with her. I wish we would stop arguing at Christmas, but we just clash so bad. And plus she's got like a week until her baby is due, so she is very heavily pregnant, and I have raging hormones too...so that helps. ;) Would be interesting if she goes into labour during the Christmas dinner..:o I was there when she first started going into labour with her first child, but that happening at Christmas would make it very interesting.

Annyway. Just wanna say Merry Christmas to the cool people on the board, incase this is the last time I'll be on until after. Hope everyone has a good time.

Goldsausage 12-23-2008 01:58 PM

Hehe my dad tries his best to keep my and my brother out of contact with most of his side of the family cos they are complete bumholes.

I only speak to his mum, his brother (his brothers gf and their newborn kid, though me and the kid don't have much of a great conversation together) and I used to speak to my Great Aunt and Uncle but then my dad told them where to go so now I don't see them.

Which is good, after all the stories I've heard about his side of the family I'm glad I barely know half the mother****ers. Christmas or not, they don't deserve my family and I's beautiful and caring company :)

Anyhow, yes, merry christmas to you also Jade! And everyone else.

Oh! Oh! I really hate my advent calender, I had to open up the 24th/last one today to make up for the shitty caramel one I got today

Goldsausage 12-23-2008 01:59 PM

Ok Jade I just got your text and it freaked me out more than anything so I retract my "Merry Christmas to you Jade!".

Thunderstrucker 12-23-2008 02:37 PM

I wish all of you a good christmas.

I salute you,
Thunderstrucker

Grypweed 12-23-2008 02:39 PM

Oh bless me, I have the rest of the week off, starting yesterday =)

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!

... and read that back on Christmas Eve, OK peoplez?

Bang_A Gun 12-23-2008 02:44 PM

Happy xmas!!!

liljovi93 12-23-2008 04:05 PM

Can't believe how quick it's coming round. Tomorrow is actually Christmas Eve!! Although, i'm not a big fan of Christmas Eve! It just drags and is pretty boring unless the family come round.

liljovi93 12-24-2008 07:51 PM

Not long left now :D

KeepTheFaith2211 12-24-2008 08:29 PM

Christmas Eve - I knew it would happen but it has dragged beyond a joke! It's only 6:29!!!

Yeah, probably because i got up earlier than usual. I can't stand it sometimes. I love it near the end of the night, but from when i wake up until i've had my tea, it drags.

Ferret 12-24-2008 09:52 PM

I just made a Christmas mix CD for my family. The tracklisting is as follows:

1. Blur - The Wassailing Song
2. The Ramones - Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight)
3. Coldplay - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
4. Keith Richards - Run Rudolph Run
5. The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York
6. Oasis - Merry Xmas Everybody
7. John Lennon - Happy Christmas (War Is Over)
8. The Who - Christmas
9. Bruce Springsteen - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
10. Bing Crosby - White Christmas
11. Bon Jovi - Back Door Santa
12. The Kinks - Father Christmas.

Minus Bing (who is essential Christmas music) every tune is by a band I like! The Who one's actually a bit depressing, though :p
