I think the worse spam days are Saturdays....

How many times do we have to go over this? A word is a word - if I'd said "For flips sake" or any other word, it wouldn't have made a difference.

yeah it would.... if u said for flip sake to an officer he wouldnt arrest you .. if you said for FFS to an officer he would arrest you, there is the difference... :D

I don't care what you can and can't say to a police officer - if I took their hat I'd get arrested, but if I took anyone elses hat (except maybe for the Queen's) I'd not get arrested :P

Its not just a word , all words have meaning otherwise whats the point in saying them... most words can be printed or said in mainstream, this word isnt.
If it could then perhaps you wouldnt bother using it in the first place...

I can say poo but I can't say shit? etc :roll: If people would see that these 'swear' words were just words, and didn't get so crazy over them then yes, maybe some people would use them less (as some do it purely for the fact that they are 'bad' words) but some people would happily use them more because they are just alternates to something else - and like any other word they have their uses.

I think it is now customary that you two have this debate at least once a year. :P

PS- I just cleaned up a crap load of spam. It is getting silly now.

Where's Kev?! He can delete the accounts of the spambots, right? It seems to be the same few that keep doing it. If only Peter were here more he could update the board software more - presumably upgrades take spammers into account and have better measures to stop them.

He can only ban them for a total of 2 months. Which is only useful for a short amount of time.

As Brooke said, I can only really ban users for around two months. I can't delete users accounts....

2 months to be exact. Seems like a pretty long time to me. I couldn't stand it, I'd just create another account.

You create new accounts when you haven't even been banned anyway.

I know! I should work on that. I should do something terrible with one account before creating a new one! DAMMIT. What a waste of accounts.

We could always start up again though. :D
