Lorenza and Bobby

I'm sure many topics have been made on this subject, so I apologise in advance.

Anyway, if there is to be another Bon Jovi tour, will Bobby and Lorenza still be playing shows with the band? Seeing as the Lost Highway tour is over, surely Lorenza will not join them as Jon said that she was only there as there had to be someone like her in many of the LH songs?

Also, what is Bobby's role in the band? He joined on the HAND tour(I'm not sure why, if anyone knows please say:p) but surely the band don't really need to have him anymore as Richie is back to his old style without all of his problems.

Anyone know anything?

Bobby will probably stay. They only needed him for the TLFR gigs and for the HAND Tour when Richie had a broken arm and was an alcoholic, but he seems to have become a permanent fixture within the band. Probably because he's Jon's mate.

I doubt Lorenza will be there on the next tour, though.

Aloha !

Bobby didn't join the band because of Richie's problems, if that were true then why was Jeff Kazee there? I think Jon's initial plan was to be capable of playing songs from This Left Feels Right live and in order to do so he needed more musicians. It gave the band a better sound up untill the point when Bandiera started doing guitar solo's and ruined the songs.

Jon said that the next tour will be just the five of them. I wonder if it's true though, can't see him drop Bandiera.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Thanks for the info. Hopefully Jon will drop him though, as they don't do any TLFR songs live anymore.

Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Bobby and he is a good guitarist, but I prefer when it is just the five playing on stage.

i wouldn't mind bobby being there if he allowed jon to move around a bit more Maybe if jon let him take some his rhythm parts like captain crash and saturday night so jon can move otherwise theres no need for him to be there really. I doubt lorenza will be back but bobby will.

I thought read someehere or perhaps saw it here that Bobby's son was sick and he needed money...so that could play into the decision....

But I take everything they say with a grain of salt. I find it hard to believe that the next tour, whenever that may be, will be just the 5 of them.

You're right about Bobby's son, Alana. He has some sort of neurological disorder. The first Hope Concert was organized to raise money for his care:

This note still appears on Bobby's website:

Donations in care of Robert Bandiera, Jr. may be sent to THE ROCK 'N' ROLL MUSIC FUND, 329 West End Avenue, Long Branch, New Jersey, 07740, USA. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!
