OMG look at how many people go to the bar/toilet in DC!

Havnt seen it all the way thru yet but it doesnt seem to have any flow to it. The intro is crap, just coming on to LH - id have liked to seen all the lights out with the backdrop video playing.

Blood on blood is the highlight so far for me...

Yeah, it's crazy.

I mean, the show is 2 hours long. Can these people not have a drink and a piss afterward?

Or at least have the decency to go in Bad Name/Its My Life/make a memory!

Yeah, it does feel very disjointed in places and I'm still not seeing why the other three tracks were left out of the main set. It's beginning to look like a lame-ass attempt at including a "bonus features" section for the sake of it.

After the massive acclaim 'Live In London' got from fans, why did they not record one of the European shows - even as a back up to MSG in case it fell a little flat? They didn't have to release both but at least they could then compare and contrast performances for a live DVD. I imagine it does cost a fair amount to get the appropriate equipment to record it properly but a fraction of what they'll earn at one of the O2 shows next year could have paid for that.

It's OK but I think I'm still more impressed with "The Circle" than this concert.

Oh, and does anyone else think that the stand out performance is IBTFY? Vocally, Richie was far superior at this show IMO.

Yeah, it does feel dis-jointed in parts, badly. I don't like the way the other 3 songs are at the end with the credits if I'm honest. I think some of the songs just don't flow and you can tell it's been edited quite a lot ... again.

Having said that, though, I still think it's a really good DVD & some really good songs.

IBTFY was fantastic. Richie sounded amazing.

To exclude "Bad Name" and replace it with "Blaze" is just crazy.

"Bed Of Roses" and "Runaway" make sense though. Jon can't walk twice back from the plattform to the mainstage (as seen in "Blood On Blood"), and "Runaway" was played as a medley between "Captain Crash" and "Sleep". That's why it's faded in and out. No way to include that in the live show without taking these 2 extra songs in as well. They could, of course, have taken "Runaway" from the 2nd night where it was played in the encores and isolated.

Got an email off Amazon saying my order which was meant to be delivered tomorrow will now arrive on 17th December:mad:

Anybody in the UK ordered off a UK site that has decent delivery. It was the Blu Ray btw.

I ordered off Play myself and it came on the day. Was only sent out on Friday too!

I checked Play but they are now saying 1-2 weeks for delivery. I have ordered from HMV. See how that goes.

RS8MB0R8 11-24-2009 03:28 PM

HMV's blu-ray is £6 more than Play's though isn't it?!

I ordered mine from Play a few weeks ago and it arrived yesterday after I got the dispatch notice on Thur or Fri last week.
