who played these songs on Crush?

I have a copy of the birthday party where the sex sells demos were played. But one thing is quite bizarre : I listened to it religiously, and went to the conclusion that Hush, Stay, Real Life, Save The World... all these songs from the Crush era are NOT played by BON JOVI, but by Jon's solo group...
so to all who have these songs, what do you think?

I'm not sure about Hush, Stay and Real life, but Save the world is on Crush cd!!!
It's the bands 7th studio album, and it's played by the whole band(Bon Jovi) i think!!!

I think Jon's solo band played on the demos (this whole Crush/Sex Sells project started as a solo album project), but the Bon Jovi band re-recorded it for the album.

His solo tour-band incl. Everett Bradley and Bobby Bandieras (he played the guitar, not Snake) and Hugh of course. Don't know who played the drums at the moment. On the album there were quite a few different musicians involved.

But on the Crush album it's of course BJ that plays the songs even though a few of them were originally written for a solo-album. The songs have changed. At Just Older a whole verse changed. The verse that is dedicated to Richie isn't in the original version of the song that Jon sang during his solo-tour for example.

Because of Real Life, I don't know who played the keyboard there. David couldn't because he was still healing his hurt finger so it wasn't David who played there.

Verse Dedicated to Richie?

Which verse in Older is dedicated to Richie and How/Why???

Any of you have the Demo with the original verse??? Would love to hear these...

Thanks!

P.S. It was Bon Jovi, not Jon, in the video for the Ed T.V. song (Real Life) and in the Background was Sex Sells stuff if I remember, but it was advertised as Bon Jovi. But this stuff actually began as Jon's solo stuff? Interesting.

Snake did one German TV apperance with Jon but he was never an actual band member. I don't think Obie was ever an official drummer either and he just filled in on a few radio show appearances.

I think that the verse dedicated to Richie is:

It's good to see your face
You ain't no worse for wear
Breathing that California air
When we took on the world
When we were young and brave
We got secrets that we'll take to the grave
And we're standing here shoulder to shoulder
