Town Hall Event - Anyone Going?
 

Hi All -

Is anyone here going to the Clinton Town Hall Event on Jan. 15th?

I found out yesterday that it'll be about an hour and a half long and I realize
there'll be a lot of political stuff going on but with Jon as musical guest, how much of Jon will we actually get?

That's my question...

My husband said, "oh, he'll only sing a couple of songs."

Hmmmm...now I'm thinking, "will I go or won't I go?"

I'm going (as is my husband) - and someone else from this board is too (though he may want to keep quiet about it so I won't mention his name).

I have seen Jon solo at political events before. He played the Democratic fundraiser at Radio City in 2000 and 2004. He is usually quieter and more low key than he is at a regular Bon Jovi show but I still enjoy it.

If nothing else a night in the city and dinner out will be welcome after the Christmas craziness.

Do you think he'll sing "I Am A Patriot"? Love that song.

I don't know that Jon has ever sung that - it's Little Stevie's song.

I don't know really know anything of Steven Van Zandt outside of the E Street Band but I do dig that song.

Goddamn - I never heard that. Thanks so much. I was at some of those fundraisers but not that one :(

I'd love to hear that live.

...hubby had to work. Couldn't make it :( Will wait to hear what happened, what songs were sung, etc...hopefully, there'll be a couple of YouTube clips too. Hope you had a blast, Kathleen! :)
