List of Tab Books

For Christmas I got the BJ Crossroads Tab Book, and HAND Tab Book, but I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of tab books?

I know they are already these.

Bounce
Crush
Keep The Faith
New Jersey

One I would really like to know about is Lost Highway, are there any TAB books (not chord)?

I have books for Fahrenheit, Slippery, New Jersey, Keep the Faith, Cross Road, These Days, Crush, Bounce, HAND & The Best of Bon Jovi. Plus Richie´s SITT. Don´t know if there´s any tab book for LH.

My mate told me she saw a Lost Highway tab book in book shop so I'm fairly certain there is one out - haven't bothered with it though.

Obviously the older the book is, the harder it is to find and the only pre-KTF tab book I had was NJ and even that I only identified on a booksellers website by its ISBN number. Got a pretty penny on eBay for it after I'd finished scanning the pages I wanted too!

Copies of SWW surface every now and again but are very hard to find. I'm curious to know Stut, the copies you have of the earliest albums - are they the official tab books or those Japanese band score books that you find from time to time? I had a couple of those and, in all honesty, they were crap. Anything that was too technically difficult to work out, they just omitted, like 'Pink Flamingoes'.

I have Richie's 'Stranger' book as well as HAND, Bounce, Crush, TD, Crossroad, KTF and a Jam With Bon Jovi book which I bought years ago mainly for the backing tracks.

If I were you, I'd steer clear of anything after Crossroad. The tabbing was dire and the books are very inaccurate as a result. ;)

The HAND book is OK. Complicated's intro is complete crap. But I realized something. On LMS, with cappo on 2nd, when they say fret 10, or something, they are talking as if 12 was 10, confusing, but I finally got it.

Fahrenheit is the Japanese band score one. The Best of Bon Jovi as well. It has most of the songs from the first album.

Ahh right, cool. I was just curious to know if they had the first two albums out in official guitar tab format as I've never come across them.

Yeah, as far as the newer books go HAND is not too bad - probably on a par with Crush. Bounce is dire though, as is These Days.

I can't remember what the book says for the 'Complicated' intro but I think I learned it from watching the MSG 2006 DVD. Richie plays an octave A at the 5th fret and then slides the strumming pattern up to an octave A at 12th from memory. He also uses a harmoniser effect for that bit too.

Talk about coincidence.

I was in my local guitar shop the other day and they had an Lost Highway book. Now I know it DEFINATLY had chords and piano notes but I can't remember if they had tabs.

Anyway it was literally about an hour ago I was in there again and I couldn't find it (not that I wanted to buy it anyway) so I can't find out for ya :(

But I recall that it had all the songs from LH listed on the back cover but inside it was missing Make A Memory.

So um...sorry for forgetting whether it contained tabs or not.
