Can't stop listening to Live songs. HELP!
 

Hey guys, first real thread here.

For some reason lately, at work or on my commute, I can't help but listen to live songs that I've found online or the O.W.N. 2001 CD. It's really bugging me cos they change the songs live (lyrics or intros/outros/solos) so I don't feel familiar with the Studio versions as much now.

I need to break the habit. Any ideas to help?? Any of you do this too?

I do it too, but there's nothing you can do about it ;) Just see it as the songs on OWN, upgrade the studio songs:p

90% of the Jovi I listen to are live tracks.

Let's face it, they're just so friggin' great live you have to.

Even OWN, though not the best live CD in the world and could have been SO much better, is still actually great to listen to.

I can't think of the last time I listened to a studio album the whole way through. Probably when Lost Highway came out actually.

Last night was listening to Diamond Ring/Damned from Yokohama, Love For Sale from Evening With, and I Believe from MK Bowl.

I listen to live Bon Jovi 95% of the time, it's better than the studio versions, maybe with the odd exception.

I remember myself listening to OWN over and over again. But when I realised what Bon Jovi actually are live, how incredible concerts they have played, OWN went to my collection and I never listened to it again. I've just picked Rockin' In The Free World because this song is probably one of the really few, which weren't shortened. I don't say edited, because it's edited. Moreover, I'm not sure about the date they supposedly played it.

So my advice is - go and get some real Bon Jovi live stuff :)

Erm, if you want to listen to more studio tracks, why don't you just ... y'know, listen to more studio tracks?

I have a few real live "albums". Most of which torrented and one from the Jan 18th 2008 YouTube Vids

currentley listening to boys from 1989 milton keynes show, still sounds awsome, think i could say the best gig i saw them do, even beats wembley in 95

I might have to download that then if it's better than Wembley 95'!
