Go to http://www.pbs.org/wttw/soundstage/bbking/bio.html and click on "Video."

Here in the U.S., PBS stations will begin airing the episode of Soundstage with BB King this weekend. The date/time varies greatly depending on the station. (For example, here in Atlanta, the new season of Soundstage won't start until February 7, and the BB King episode is the 4th one of the season. Hopefully I'll get it on February 28.) There's a link on the website which will allow you to check the schedule for your local station.

And I've been thinking about getting into BB King too, so this is gonna be pretty snazzy.

Great to see and hear richie what he does best, namley the blues, and with such a legend. Did he do any other songs with BB?

I got an email about this one. I had posted a comment on a blog written by a woman who was at the show, and she emailed me today about the show finally being scheduled to air. A follow-up email included the info about the video being online.

I don't know if Richie played on more songs or not. According to the set list, that was not the last song, so hopefully he did.

why does BB King call Richie Rick? Anyhow, excellent performance by both of them. BB King is amazing...such a showman and Richie just rocks. He should finally go on tour solo.

I certainly hope there is more Richie to be heard on that show. That clip is awesome.

Oh wow! I just got to watch that clip with the sound turned up. (I was at work earlier.) Yowza! :cool:

Now that I think about it, I'd guess that Richie does at least one more song. The blog that I found a couple of months ago talked about Richie & BB actually playing together, and BB hardly played the guitar on that one. So, I'm going to hope for at least one more! Fingers crossed . . .
