Fields of Fire
 

I was sifting through You Tube and i found a intresting unreleased song from KTF called Fields of Fire. I liked it alot. Why did Jon leave it off the album?

Awesome song - but I think Jon only sang it once live. It would have been too hard to sing live very often would be my guess. It was released on the These Days bonus disc in Japan.

It's a good song, but I don't think it's better than most of KTF. I'd put it above "Fear", "If I Was Your Mother", and "I Want You"

Sang it at the NEC in Birmingham may 93, just jon and his acoustic though not the full band version.

I mean, the track's alright, but I don't rate it above anything on KTF. And 3 tracks aren't "most" of KTF. In fact, half the tracks on Lost Highway are better than it, IMO.

So many better b-sides to pick that should have been on albums.

I think it's where it deserves to be, a decent, but not great b-side.

One of the best Jovi songs. And I mean the KTF bonus track version, not the butchered box set version.
