Good for you - do you have tickets? MSG is sold out through Ticketmaster but there are piles of tickets on Stub Hub and similar sort of sites.

Sooo jealous! Hope you have a great time in New York and are able to catch the show- lucky bugger!

Just watched Wrecking Ball from Giants on Youtube- looks like they were all amazing gigs.

High seats at the Garden = Pretty good seats almost anywhere else.
I'd be there if I wasn't going to be in AC that weekend.

Got back to the UK from New York today after going to Giants last Friday.

Fantastic show. Kitty's Back was perhaps the single greatest performance of a song I have ever seen. Jersey Girl was poignant. As others have said, the Born in the USA album worked so much better than I would have hoped or expected. Some really powerful and pulsating tracks blending together nicely.

I understand those have voiced disappointment that there was no special appearances, but going into the show without any real preconceived ideas of what to expect, it was wonderful. 19 different songs compared to my previous show in London. A show by Bruce destroys a show by any other act any time.

So, after like 15 different attempts, I put together a list of my Top 20 Bruce songs. It's still not accurate, and will probably change, but whatever, and yeah I know it's blatantly obvious the era/style of Bruce music I prefer:

1. Jungleland
2. Badlands
3. Born To Run

4. Land of Hope and Dreams
5. No Surrender
6. Thunder Road
7. Mary's Place
8. Rosatlita (Come Out Tonight)
9. 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)
10. Backstreets
11. The Promised Land
12. 10th Avenue Freeze Out
13. Bobby Jean

14. The River
15. Spirit In The Night
16. Atlantic City
17. Terry's Song
18. Born In The USA
19. Hungry Heart

20. Darkness on The Edge of Town

15 out of 20 in 4 shows. Not bad at all, though I still would have killed for LOHAD.

THE PRICE YOU PAY . . . to open Bruce's last show at the Spectrum in Philly. Wow.

That would be wonderful.

Wreck on the Highway was soundchecked in Greenville AND on the handwritten setlist, but we didn't get it. I think he should save it for Charlotte in 2 weeks. It will be the same crowd for the most part.

EDIT: Maybe he's getting The River ready for you at MSG! :-D
