To think Springsteen is going to steal of KISS of all people is bizarre.

To think Tommorow Never Knows is an Amy Macdonald song is also bizarre. It's quite obviously a Dylan track in a Bruce Springsteen disguise.

I have the special edition of this album with The Last Carnival video - the audio is on the album. If for no other reason you should have it. Bruce wrote about Wild Billy over the years and this is the coda. Wild Billy was Danny and I can't listen to it without getting choked up but Bruce's writing is spot on. It completes a circle for those of us who have been along for the carnival ride.

Should go in the cover thread, but nobody reads that.

Bob Dylan covering Dancing In The Dark:

Couldn't believe it when I found this. Rubbish though.

I have the special edition of it as well but I am not aware of all the stories so the songs you find treasureful are more normal songs to me. I am no Brucepedia :)

Ah, this one is much better. Dylan's featured in that they're playing one of his songs, but it's a collaboration with another one of the greats: Neil Young.

It's messy, partly due to the rubbish mix, but Neil and Bruce seem to be having a great time, and the Big Man does a solo as well.

Rockin' In The Free World
A lovely version of Helpless from a different (and earlier) gig
An acoustic version of Down By The River with Bruce doing some cool licks and some pretty shit vocals
So basically, whenever Neil and Bruce get together they play some cool stuff and seemingly have a great time :D

On his early legs of The Never Ending Tour Bob played a new cover pretty much every night. Needless to say, they didn't always work :D

I love that version of helpless! Helpless is one of the best songs ever recorded. Thanks for the youtube links!

And today I went to the record store and bought: Magic, Nebraska, Tunnel of love, The rising and Darkness on the edge of town.

I didn't say he stole the songs. Outlaw Pete has something of the song of KISS and I didn't say Tomorrow Never Knows was stolen from Amy McDonald but I just don't think it's a Bruce song and sounds an awful lot like an Amy McDonald song.

That's not bizarre. That's an opinion I do not share alone.

Right guys, I need your help.

So today I was bored, it was my day off, and there was no way in hell I was gonna do any work. So I got on a train and headed out into the city.

Whilst I was there I bought a book (The Grapes Of Wrath :)) and a couple Bruce things.

The Storyteller DVD.

And my FAVOURITE BRUCE ALBUM - THE WILD, THE INNOCENT & THE E STREET SHUFFLE.

Now I hate how nowadays Bruce releases his albums in those stupid cardboard things. So imagine my horrow when I found out that there was no hardcase for this album, just a cardboard one. And on top of that, it had crazy Japanese writing on it. And it said it had a side one and a side two

And this is what really pisses me off - it's like an inch taller than every other CD I own. That's gonna irritate me forever. I've not even opened it yet.

So what exactly is it? I already know I'm gonna have to buy it again in a hardcase as soon as I see one :(

It looks like this, but obviously different cover. But you can see the Jap text.
