I WANTED A BOOKLET WITH PICTURES DAMMIT LIKE IN CDs!!!

And now, because I've got this unusual CD in my collection I feel like I've gotta buy the rest of those Jap ones <_< I'm gonna end up with two of every Bruce album.

So it's like a Japanese import yeah? Or just a Jap vinyl replica? Because the actual CD doesn't look like a vinyl replica, looks like every other CD.

Also I bought Lucky Town (hard case!!) today. Slowly getting them all to own!

Yeah it's the Japanese vinyl edition, it's not the cd as such but the cover and the sleeve that the replicate from the vinyl. Maybe not so fun for you youngsters but for us old vinyl buffs it's a bit cool. I've got the Live 75-85 box with 5! cds 1 for each of the lps.
..and that is why your wild and innocent is a bit boring...because the original vinyl didn't have any inner sleeve with pics or lyrics och liner notes, nada so be happy that at least you got the lyrics with this one!

My Live 75-85 Box has only 3cd's.
Didn't even know there was a 5cd version as well.

I salute you,

My Japanese version is a replica of the vinyl version of Live 75-85 that was on 5 LP's.

Fair enough :)

I salute you,

Nah I love vinyls! To own and look at anyway, not to play.

But these Jap vinyl replicas are annoying. Like an inch taller than every other CD - THIS IS REALLY IRRITATING OF FOR SOMEONE AS ANAL AS MYSELF!

The only way to sort it out is to buy all the Jap vinyl replicas too :(

Oh I bought and watched the MTV Plugged show yesterday. I did have a downloaded copy of it but never got round to watching it.

First of all - and I've always wondered this - why is the cover so crappy? Looks like someone in my Film Studies class did it.

Second of all - AWESOME SHOW!! I have a copy of the CD version so I knew what most of it was like - but man - to finally have WATCHED Bruce play that brilliant version of Lucky Town was great.

And The Big Muddy/57 Channels medley was chine-spilling. It was like Bruce was channeling Pink Floyd for a short while.

The only performance that I thought was lame was Glory Days. I've seen a couple of performances where Bruce does it with his other band and I never enjoy it.

Also - wtf is Bruce doing flirting with that woman at the end of Man's Job? Does he not remember the last time he interacted with a girl in the band whilst a married man? :o Stoopid Bruce.

But yeah, asides from a some minor (and petty on my behalf) faults I [i]really[i/] enjoyed it :D

Oh one more thing I forgot - Better Days sounds completely different on the DVD than it does on the CD. Anyone else get this?

I don't think I know the cd-version but I sure like the dvd a lot as well !
Especially the live version of Living Proof about the birth of his son.

I salute you,

Urgh, I hate that song. But I like the title considering what it's about.

I don't like Lucky Town, too dragging imo :)

I salute you,
