Yeah, we should get in now because it's only going to get bigger :p

It hit me just how much I love him last night when I watched the Wrecking Ball video. He's done so much and with such style.

Never stop Bruce :-(

I was there the night he debuted that song and I thought - it's ok - nothing special. But I went to all 5 of those "close down Giants Stadium shows" and by the time I heard that song for the last time there I was already in love with it.

Now I hear it and feel nostalgic and it's only been a year. How does he DO that to us? Not to mention that he's been doing it to me for a long time LOL

I love Bruce too! He's not exactly my favourite artist (probably my 4th favourite solo artist or something :p) but he's still ****ing great. I mean, seriously, what's not to like about him?!

Still one of the balliest things I've ever seen an artist do live.

I agree.

I was just watching the new Hyde Park video. Itīs amazing how he just collects the banners and then sings all the songs requested.

Oh believe me he picks those banners quite purposely but can still throw in a wild card if he feels like it, like in Stockholm he picked a banner for E Street Shuffle but unfortunately Jay didn't know that one so we never got it. :-(

I really felt for Jay during the sign segment of the show. At the show in Greenville, SC, Bruce showed a sign for This Hard Land to the crowd before checking to see if Jay knew it. He didn't . . . but Bruce wanted to do it anyway. He said something like "Eh kid, nothing to it." Jay looked less than convinced. Fortunately, that song starts off with just Bruce on a harmonica and an acoustic guitar, so there was a little time. Nils and Stevie went back to the kit and gave Jay a crash course on the song. He looked SO relieved when it was over! The next sign Bruce grabbed was for (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, and again, he announced it before checking with Jay. When Bruce realized what he'd done and turned around to ask, Jay had a big grin on his face and was nodding yes. He must have breathed a big sigh of relief when that segment was over each night.

Thats a nice story and I looked up that performance of the song on youtube right away. Nice :)

I salute you,

I'm so glad I got Max at my show.

Jay although competent, just didn't fit in. He pushed the timing too much.

He did actually - and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. It was spectacularly successful during Radio Nowhere. I heard Max borrowing some of his kids riffs later on in the tour - AND speeding up the timing.
