New show and yes he's mixing up the setlists already! and Jungleland!! AND Glory days! there it is....sometimes I wonder if Bruce can "hear" our discussions. Last year we were sitting outside Emirates (London) waiting in the queue and discussing what songs we wanted to hear compared to the night before; No Surrender, Downbound Train, Growing up, 4th of July, Darkness..., Backstreets.... AND we got them all! you wonder then don't you? lol!

Great set. I'm just still not feeling Badlands as an opener. Maybe I just love the song too much to be objective.

I really like Badlands as an opener actually. High energy from the start and a feeling that it's a continuation from last year! In London they started with Tenth Avenue and that was really cool.

Tenth Ave. is brilliant as an opener.

Lil off-topic: Operation Oli Takes On Bruce Fans didn't commence last night because the admin didn't validate me.

However, I am now validated so I can post :) And it's Monday Night - Monday Night is the night Oli is most CRAZY!!

Ok, back to discussion of last nights show :)

I'm gonna sit on the sidelines and watch the blood flow Oli <snicker> Hell hath no fury like Bon Jovi hating Bruce fans.

As I said two years ago after The Hope Show, how fortunate are we to be at the Jersey Shore and have two of the biggest rock stars in the world, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi (please save the attacks) on stage at a 1,400 seat venue, plus Southside Johnny, Gary US Bonds, Bobbty Bandiera and Nicole Atkins.

I did a search for Bon Jovi to observe some of the hatred in February...

I found one thread where they were ripping on Bon Jovi for being such a money grabbing sell out because they were playing a halftime show at a Football game.....

You have to believe me when i say it took all of my resolve and determination not to drag that 2 year old post back up and say HAH. I had to literally restrain my mouse hand.
