Those Dublin shows are really close to my birthday, but I'd prefer to see Alice Cooper anyway, so I'll give them a miss. :)

Now about that Born to Run album - perhaps you could arrange NOT to have a front row seat so that a recording would be possible LOL. |
If those Dublin shows are true then I will also be at both :D
And it will be inside so no rain this time woot! :D |
:( They aren't true
UB40 & Beyonce are playing those nights |

If the rumours are true and he is playing Dublin in November, I am so going! I think I even have a reading week from uni then so I wouldn't even have to skive :)

But if that date does turn out to be false and you don't wanna be called a few naughty words and would hate to see me upset, you could always gimme lots money to go see him in the States :) No pressure. |

Just checked out the R&R Hall of Fame show on ticketmaster - top seats (just regular, not hospitality) $2054.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Thank god it was only $2054.50 - If it were $2055, that would be too much) |
So...am I right in thinking that there is no French date now?
God dammit, that took place right next to my birthday too, it was going to be so awesome :( Damn you asok :( |
As long as he plays in France when I'm there next year, I'll forgive him. Anyone think there's even a slight possibility of a tour early next year? I'm dying to see him live again (only next time, I'm going standing. Those people in seating at Glasgow really bugged us).
|
There's speculation he might be swinging around early next year. That's great and all, but him, Jovi, Marion Raven and other things to pay for will leave me on the streets without a home :o I need to get a damn job.
Also...my DVD just arrived people! Now I'm just waiting on my mate to come around so we can sit down and do the E Street Shuffle and get worn out trying to compete with Bruce. |
Hmmm....I'm not going to be abroad until July at the earliest, but it wouldn't be the first time that I've skipped class for a gig....
|

And as for the R & R HOF gig, I am going. I bought tickets for around $125.00 a piece. They are not the best seats in the house (not the worst either) but MSG is a small venue and I will be there :) |

As much as I want to try for one of the MSG shows, I'm going to Giants Shows, and apparently have to save up for Jovi shows. Why do I have a feeling this won't last?

Still no more Canadian dates. Boo-urns!
Although, the Nashville gig does happen to fall on my 25th birthday haha |

Back on topic. |
"BWAHAHAHA....The ball....his groin....it works on so many levels"

A few songs from Bruce's Hyde Park set were broadcast today on Sky Arts 1 (and some Neil Young as well :D). I believe they were;
1. The 59 Sound (with the Gaslight Anthem) 2. Born To Run 3. Radio Nowhere 4. Rosalita 5. Jungleland (FUCK YES) 6. London Calling 7. Lonesome Day Stick them together with the songs broadcast from Glastonbury and you've got yourself a great soundboard quality bootleg, admittedly with two versions of Born To Run. The more technologically gifted of us (ie. not myself) could also make a neat DVD. I'll be sure to compile my audio bootlegs of Bruce and Neil's shows in time for my holiday :) |

Now I have a dime account can anyone point me in the direction of the broadcast from Hyde Park? Wouldn't mind if anyone could find the Neil Young songs they aired either.

A lot of practice. A touch of luck and a touch of inspiration. But mostly practice. People aren't born that way. |
