good news about the 20 box set
 

jon and riche recently in an interwie for argentina said that the box set is for older bon jovi fans and it will contain B-sides unrealised material
and that they are just choosing the songs. :P . :P

let's just hope they didn't say the same thing about the *live* album... not sure who that was for.

I hope that no b-sides which have already been released end up on it; but that could be just wishful thinking on my part. I already have songs like All I Want Is Everything, Stay, It's Only Rock N Roll(live), Postcards From The Wasteland etc etc etc.... I also don't really care for any live versions of songs they've already released via studio or otherwise.


I hope the majority, about 85-90% of the box set consists of unreleased songs.

That's what Jon also said in an interview here in Germany.

I just hope that it doesn't only incl. B-sides because I have all of them (well, it would safe me a lot of money if I wouldn't need to buy it LOL). B-sides wouldn't be anything for the "old" fans, just for the new ones.

Seems like the Box Set is just going to keep on getting better by the post!

They said the live album was for newer fans. Gee, thanks, right? LOL So if being for newer fans is their excuse for it to have sucked, then maybe they're going to actually put some effort into the box set and make it worth the purchase price.

I'm really looking forward to this box set. As long as it's not lame like OWN, I will buy it.

I actually don't mind if they include songs like Starting All Over Again or Stay or Edge Of Broken Heart or I Don't Wanna Live Forever etc that have already surfaced as b-sides in some CD singles, simply because: Not everybody has cd singles! People may have them in mp3 format but I think it's nice to have everything packaged in a box set.

I do mind if it the boxset includes the following crap:
- studio cuts of songs (hits) that have appeared in official albums (unless they're reworked acoustically or whatever)
- live tracks of their hits. leave these for the next live album for the old fans (i.e. at least a double CD)
