Richie's solo appearances in 1991
I've been watching some videos on YouTube tonight, and have found some videos of when Richie did a show in 1991 in New York. I can see Richie, a bassist and a rhythm guitarist(both unknown to me:p).
Anyhow, I saw the keyboardist to the back and I think he could be David Bryan. So, does anyone know if when Richie did any shows David and Tico appeared too? I am asking this because they appear on 'Stranger In This Town' don't they? Any help appreciated. :) Here's the video: |
Yeah richie did a short tour of a few shows(dont no exactly how many but i know of two bootlegs) and tico and dave were in his band. Not sure bout the other guitarist and bassist though.
He Did some great shows in 91 though. |
Dave Amato was on guitar and Tony Levin on bass. I think there were 16 shows that tour, but not 100% sure.

Thanks Seb, Richie and Dave. :)
Some of his setlists were amazing, and the performances weren't bad either. :p |
Don released the 1st gen DVD of the NY show recently and it is crystal clear and nice especially copmpared to the shit copy that has circulated on VHS since 91.
Also any of them on that list with a setlist circulate as well. Sadly the tour did poorly businesswise and plans for more shows were scrapped. Dave |

saw him solo live in 98 twice, once at a radio station acoustic with hook herreras on harmonica and once acoustic at an outdoor show around noon with Hugh, Richie Supa, and Everett Bradley
he was excellent and I contend he is not only a beter singer than Jon but puts ona better show <dave ducks> Dave |

However, I believe both Jon's solo albums are better than Richie's(I love both of Richie's too though). *Waits for abuse. :p |
