Summerfest in Milwaukee

Looks like Jon's version of taking time off includes a few summer festivals. Announcement went up today that they are doing the opening night, Thursday, June 24th, at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Tickets go on sale march 7th.

Excellent news - will definitely be there.

Hmm, very interesting.

This is starting to resemble the spring/summer of 2007. I'd say new material is clearly on the way for summer/fall (not necessarily the new album though).

My God, Jon can just not take a break from the stage... He really is trying to keep up with his Jersey brother Bruce...

My thoughts exactly.

I will definitely be there! Was there two years ago and it was awesome! I wonder if we will get to hear any of the new songs this show because that would be awesome

RSROCKS 03-02-2009 07:23 AM

I don't think it's a far-fetched idea for a song to make it's debut. I brought up the possibility in the New Orleans thread.

Plus it's in June, which is a good few months away and the album will probably have progressed a lot at that point. :)
