Obie! You answered me! Sort of.
I so need your reasurance. My Jovi budies are tormenting me. I went by Jon's house the day before the concert and the day after the concert and the gate was open. But I respect Jon far too much to enter his property. Now they tell me I should have because in the past fans have walked down the drive and Jon has come out and met them. Please tell me I did the right thing. I want to meet him so badly, but I want him to be happy more.
Ok, now I sound like a loon. Nevermind.
Would it make me sound saner if I told you that Mini Poster Jon told me "lucky aint enough, you gotta make your own brakes" and I should go for it while hubby said "you can't get arrested, I don't want to fly back to Florida by myself" and I should get back in the car?

Well, I mean saner because I did what the real person told me to do and not what the keychain person told me to do.

You did the right thing. That's his home and the property staff do not let anyone get close to the house.
