For this poster and milomom - i gotta got a different sense - it seemed that he just wanted to cee how it looked in front of audiences and i did not get the impression that there will be many if any changes to what we see now...

that being said - i am a film nerd a would love to be able to do a compare - it slike a demo version - you can learn a lot....

my guess would be the fall...november.....

it may actually coincide with the MSG release maybe if it doesnt get a distributor....or be a boxset bluray...

:)

I hope you are right Marc but when he spoke to us at night 1 it seemed like when asked he didn't know if or when it would be on dvd. I took it to mean that he is not done filming.Maybe he's in the studio with the band while they record.

Being a huge film nerd/film major in college at the moment, I can say that this really means nothing.
My guess would be that the flick will get a limited theatrical release. Some major cities, for one or two weeks, then be released on DVD ala' the Runnin' Down A Dream documentary about Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. This whole project actually sounds quite similar TBH, and if it's anywhere near as good, we're in for a real treat.

And thanks a lot for the review Marc. This is really sounded like everything I hoped it would be, as opposed to what I feared.

Thanks so much for the link.
And holy shit, EVERY new thing I hear about this, the more excited I'm getting. I'm really hoping for an NY screening. Hopefully we could get the local JT gang together.
