Slippery When Wet - tracks chanel by chanel

Hey guys, how are you?

I found some tracks from Slippery When Wet separated chanel by chanel like:

Vocal line
Backing vocal line
Guitar line
Drums line

I'm surprised because I think that this can be leaked from the sessions where Slippery was remixed to be released in 5.1 audio (that dual disc)...

Do you know something about this?

Yah, that's how it was done. It was done with Bounce and can be done with the dual disc for HAND too.

They weren't leaked, you can separate the tracks from the 5.1 mix. And they're not the separate studio tracks, they're the tracks used in the 5.1. mix, not the actual tracks.

So, you don't get just Richie's guitar track, there's all sorts of other stuff on it as well.

I'm fine thanks. Yourself?

Unfortunatly that is the only question of your post I can answer correctly.

You might also see Livin' on a Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive split into actual seperate tracks (dums, bass, vocal, guitar, keys/backing vocals) because they were used in some of those guitar games, and the seperate tracks somehow got out.

Sorry, my phrasing was crap. I didn't mean to agree it was leaked, I forget the name of the program that can do it, though I'm sure quite a few could.

Side note, there was never a 5.1 of TLFR was there?

You can use DVD Audio Extractor to rip any standard Dolby, DTS or LPCM track from the DVD-Video layer of a disc - but it takes a lot more fiddling to unlock a proper DVD-Audio disc.

Yes, there was; but it was on SACD and the surround mix was boring. The surround mix of Bounce - also on SACD - was very well done though, and the quality was incredible.

I have "Livin' on a prayer" here and the details are:

Central track = Vocal line (only the lead vocal)
Base guitar = Just the base with no solo
Left track = Keyboards + backing vocals
Bass line (only bass)

I'm using "Windows Media Player Classic" with "AC3filter 1.51" to play "Lost highway - The concert" and "Have a nice day - dual disc", both 5.1 mix, and the singles tracks doesn't have only one element... for example, on "LH-TC" the "central track" has vocal+acoustic, and on "HAND" the "central track" has "vocal+guitar" or something "vocal+eletronic beat".

So, I think that about "Slippery" track, probably came out from Guitar Hero...

My point is... I'd really like to listen to "HAND" or "Bounce" without those crap eletronic beat.

It's because both Wanted and Prayer came from Guitar Hero or Rock band or one of those games like that, people are extracting each separate track. They used to re-record the songs for those games but apparently now they use the original masters, if they can. So until HAND and Bounce get selected for a Bon Jovi edition of the game, we're out of luck for something like that :(

You said you had Slippery, not just a song. It's from Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour. Again, not leaked from anywhere and not the original tracks from the recordings.

Not gonna happen.
