And if someone is somewhere that has such a filter, they probably shouldn't be spending their time on a messageboard anyway - although personally I've only ever heard of places blocking access to porn, and not sites which so happen to have specific words in them. Surely it'd block access then to any page where someone might have the name Dick, or any multitude of words get used in a non-offensive context.

(although, frankly, I'm too tired to have this same old debate again)

Mr Anderson :D Neil ....... messageboards are used for various reasons these days not just leisure and most have filters that do not allow swearing. If they allowed swearing on the forums they would lose business/product accounts.
