I thought it was a good race. Poor Rosberg.Vettel is still on form I bet Alonso was annoyed :) Bit of a fun read here:- http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/24032011/36...ad-cars-0.html

Was a good race, Vettel seems to be unstoppable!

Just read that both of the Saubers were disqualified, something to do with their rear wings being illegal, such a shame for Perez on his debut.

Yeah I saw that too. Like you say a real shame for Perez he looks promising.

So glad F1 is back
Looking forward to Malaysia already.

Not sure about that rear wing, doesn't seem to do a whole lot, but will have to wait and see for more races to see what good it would do.

No idea why McLaren didn't get Jenson to give back the place. He would have been a lot better off.

Shame about the Saubers. They did so well.

I think McLaren told Jenson to stay where he was as they thought HE was in the right and Felipe in the wrong. Looked 50/50 to me.

Also, Jenson had both Ferraris coming up behind, so wouldn't have been clear to him which was Felipe and which was Fernando.

Agree about the rear wings, didn't notice it doing much. Also think they should be able to use it on ANY of the straights rather than one restricted zone.

Oh dear ...

The problem with the new DRS is two-fold:
a) It's too restricted, should be able to use it anywhere on the track
b) The car in front will just use the KERS boost which effectively keeps them in front

As for the GP itself this weekend, I was awake with my 5 year old watching it, until we got bored around lap 30.

I don't think you can read too much into Vettel roaring away from lap 1.
After all, Red Bull have always been good in Australia. There are plenty of tracks which are better suited to the other teams, so the title race will still be nice and wide open.
