I don't think Webber will be with Red Bull next year though. Weather or not Kimi will be there, we shall have to see. I do plan on going to Barcelona though, so I really hope he is back! |
Not too surprising but still...bye bye USF1!!!
Stefan GP were right to be all prepared. Hopefully we will se Jaques Villeneuve in Bahrain and not just for 60th anniversary title winners parade! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/81819 |

Link Also, you heard any news on Campos? Assuming they are gonna be ok for Bahrain considering theres little over a week until the season opener!! |

That Senna's seat isn't 100% as he hasn't a lot of sponsorship so it looks like Lopez & Chandhok will have the seats. OR that Lopez will be a reserve driver. And that their shakedown will be in Bahrain. Oh and they may change their name to Hispania Racing and will unveil their livery on Thursday :D So I guess we shall see on Thursday More positive than USF1 anyways :) Am so freaking excited bout the start of the season!! Been waiting way too long for this. |

Seems like ages since the end of the 09 season, but it's come round quickly in a wierd sort of way lol. Is Bahrain one of the races thats on in the middle of the night? |

Was trying to work this out the other day but gave up :) They are 3 hours ahead of us..... So the race will be starting here at 11am I think. That's if is starts at 2pm local time. Normally autosport or formula1.com will have it up on their sites and we can convert to our own local time but its not up there yet. |

according to it, race will be 12pm. Link |
Thats good to know. 12pm start :)
|
BOO to the FIA!!!!!
No entry for Sefan GP!!! How mean! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/81828 |
They must be struggling to shift Bahrain tickets since that's all you get on the telly here at the mo.
Maybe not having the race on a weekday might make a bit more sense.... |

As for Campos, they're now called Hispania Racing and will definately be there in Bahrain ;) And Renault have announced that they are gonna be sponsored by Lada! ;) |

Not long until Bahrain now!!!
Qualifying is on BBC1 at 10:10am and the race is on at 11:10am. Quite handy as I usually wake up around then at the weekend ;) |
I'm so excited :D
I need to find a way so I can watch BBC I player online for practise. Damn thing won't let me cos am in Ireland. Boo to that. |

I got no red button either :(
I did find something last year to put on IE, but it was something you had to pay for. I wish I had kept it now cos I would actually pay for it!! Press conference tomorrow :D Some pics from today http://www.autosport.com/gallery/index.php/id/1958 I freakin LOVE this :D |
looks cloudy there doesn't it.
|
It's just the angle of the shot with the added benefit of it being sandstorm season and the whole east coast of KSA polluting the air for miles around Russ.
You don't really get cloud cover over here but the sky is never really bright blue either. |
Thanks for explaining Jim. Are you going to the race?

I'd considered it a while ago but the tickets were expensive considering I'm not a fan of F1 and I'll be working on Saturday and Sunday anyways... Race day itself is the start of the working week in bahrain so it'll only be the folk that can afford to take a day off of work that will be at it. i am going through next weekend for St patrick's day though :D |
Expencice is the word!! I wanted to go to Silverstone this year but i could buy a holiday with those prices they charge! Good on ya for going out Patricks day :)

Never mind, that was the red button channels, BBC1 is always fine and as long as I see the race ;) |
Excellent Felipe is second :)
Love so much that he beat Alonso and that Rosberg beat Schumacher. Really hope Rubens has a good race from 11th :) |

Can't really tell what is gonna happen tomorrow as it's the first time we've seen these cars racing while being filled to the brim with fuel! Think the red bulls are looking strong though! |
I thought it was a great race. Without the refueling it makes it more about driving skills and not fuel strategy. Ferrari did well but they got to watch that over heating. If they don't get up in pole at the start of the race i can see them having real problems. Good to see Lewis has still got it and Jenson did push hard towards the end of the race.

A great victory for Ferrari
McLaren team, suck it down losers  Best regards, the Sexx |
Thought the race was kinda boring too. The most exciting parts were the pit stops and even they weren't timed right so stupid.
Great that Ferrari had the 1-2 even if it was the wrong way around for my liking! Vettel would have won it though if he hadn't the exhaust problem. I don't think the Ferrari could have overtaken. Looking forward to Australia though. |
I guess its down to what you want from a race. Would have liked to see more overtaking but that will change as the season goes on. Dont forget this was their first big testing with the new rules and i think its going to get really exciting.
|
Austrailia this weekend!
Not sur ehow much i'm looking forward to it after the snoozefest in Bahrain, but at least F1 is back on tv! Will probably miss Qualy as i'll be travelling back from my hol on sat, got it set to record incase I feel like watchin it ;) |
It will be good :)
