To your 2nd paragraph - Just because a person can have an orgasm doesnt mean it is ok to go ahead, this is where choice comes in... take this as an example. A brother and sister begin a sexual relationship, this is illegal, why? Because its dangerous for their offspring , they might be deformed.

However much gay sex is enjoyed it cant produce offspring , so I dont see your point of saying "An organism which enjoys sexual activity has a good chance of reproducing."

There are times I've wondered why some perceive a lot of Christians as being out of touch with and disliking society, why they feel the need to hold themselves to a different standard, why they are so "different."

Everybody's gotta be responsible for their own actions, but I don't blame Christians at all for wanting to be different, when so many of the people they interact with are dicks.

People have their own set of beliefs, and as long as they don't seek to harm other people with them, there's no reason they shouldn't be left to those beliefs. Can they explain them? Maybe. Can we understand their reasoning? Maybe, maybe not. Do we have to like their beliefs? There's no right not to be offended.

We'd be a much more harmonious world if people kept their beliefs to themselves mostly, and those that didn't like those beliefs didn't wear their sphincter around their collar.

People who makes comments like that are generally repressed. I think you've heard stories of priests abusing kids, and assumed that there must be some high rate of this. Well I think you'll find that those few priests who do abuse, are infact gay.

Here's a fact for you. 35% of Paedophiles in the US are homosexuals. less than 2% of the US population is gay.

How is it immoral for 2 consenting adults to be together? How does it affect you? I'll grant you that abortion is a difficult subject, but it's the choice of the woman, and isn't immoral. I was half expecting you to cite incest or bestiality, and using the phrase 'slippery slope' as I've seen on other forums.

The only thing ****ed up about this is that people have the indecency to hide behind a god and an institution that claim to love while spouting so much hate.

Good thing religion is man-made, so there's no need to assume that God is as ****ed up as the humans who use him to justify their own prejudices.
