More kudos to David Bryan!
 

I am a guitar guy but I love how his keys adding color to the sound. Somehow I noticed (especially on the last tour and other live recordings of course) that he plays alot more stuff in the songs live than you can hear on the record actually. (Post 80s synthie era I mean)
Must be too low in the mix or am I deaf?

Noticed it myself mate. Same with Tico.

Plus, for a keyboard player, Dave's pretty animated at a gig. He always looks like he's having a fantastic time.

And...the boy can play :)

Dave is fantastic in every sense of the word.

Yeah, he always seems to be smiling :D

Don't forget the hair too.

David is my second favourite member, just behind Richie Sambora :D

When I got Lost Highway: The Concert, I was so estatic that put of the 4 postcards, only 2 of them were of band members and one was David and one was Richie :D Oh boy, did I feel lucky that day, it really made my Christmas!

Most under-rated band member. Fantastic keyboard skills, brilliant voice. Plus he is cool and seems like he would be very easy to hang out with.

Dave should be Jon's hero. Her covers (or covered) a LOT for him on the live vocals.

D-man should be his name for now on.

He can sing, too. When I was visiting Kathleen & Paul for the Bruce shows, we went to The Toxic Avenger Musical, too. The male lead's voice can't hold a candle to David's.


If you have a chance to see this show, do NOT pass it up. It is one hell of a good time! A word to the wise, though . . . if you're in the front row, watch out for the green slime! LOL

BTW, David's other musical, Memphis, is due to open on Broadway in October. (I'm hoping to see it in previews when I go north for more Bruce shows.) Anyone with the box set knows what David can do with the title song.


With all that David's been doing lately, it's pretty clear that he's very under-utilized within the framework of Bon Jovi.
