are the boys gonna be touring europe in 2010?

They will be in Europe in 2010. Waiting for the release date for the MSG DVD. I will pass it along as soon as I have it. Sooooooo Rocketh onward.

Its gd they're releasing all this stuff this year!

Let's just hope that they will return to Portugal next year for the Rock in Rio again :D

If they release the new album in October, they'll be touring Europe and the world in 2010.

I remind you that original idea was to relase GH2, start promoting it, start touring, release new album and carry on promoting both.

Obie might just be playing mind games, he probably means they will be in Europe for some one off show for something and not necessarily for a tour. It's obie remember.

I think this can be taken at face value. Whatever the plans may have been regarding the order in which the new album and greatest hits were going to come out, it's now obvious from what Jon and Richie have said that the new album will be out around November of this year. If that turns out to be the case then a tour will follow and Europe will always be in the summer so therefore this information, while not being very startelling is almost certainly true.

It makes sense, anyway.

I'm guessing all the stockpiled stuff comes out this year, the dvd the documentary the book and a GH with new songs for the holidays, and the new record doesn't come till spring with a quick promo run in the US then overseas touring, Europe, OZ, Japan etc... over the late spring and early summer with the bulk of the US / Canada late summer/fall 2010.
I don't think any world tour comes until the economy picks up a bit and settles in at a better place. Unless of course Jon gets too excited about the new stuff and he just can't wait to share, LOL.
