Against the Majority...
 

Was looking at my Jovi playlist, ordered from favourite to least favourite, and was thinking that I would be absolutely massacred by some fans here at Jovitalk due to some positions of a couple of songs. Got me thinking about how Jovitalk always praises the songs and albums which are loved by the majority, and the songs disliked by the majority are always picked on.

Is there anyone here who doesnt like the songs Dry County or These Days? Anyone love the ITM/HAND/Everyday trilogy? Anyone think Bounce or 7800 are the bands greatest albums? Would love to hear from people who like songs which need a bit of loving here.

Before anyone blurts out anything though, lets keep the love! No song/album/member bashing! :lol:

Here is a few examples of where I go against the majority...

01. Hey God.... rarely ever listen to it.
02. Wanted Dead Or Alive is my 8th favourite track from SWW (only ahead of Social Disease and Let It Rock)
03. I love Thank You For Lovin Me just as much as I love Always.
04. Til We Aint Strangers Anymore.... love it
05. Runaway overated? Yes
06. Much prefer If I Was Your Mother and Fear over Keep The Faith
07. I enjoy Joey
08. In & Out Of Love... its alright... I guess.
09. I love Bad Medicine more than Blood on Blood
10. Have A Nice Day and Its My Life are both in my top 10 favourite Bon Jovi songs.
11. Hearts Breaking Even is my 4th favourite song from These Days.

Hearts Breaking Even is a great song, one of my favourites from These Days, and Runaway bores me (except I love the piano version)

Can't agree with the rest though - especially the not liking These Days and Dry County which are easily two of the very best songs the band has ever done.

And HAND in your top ten songs? Nope, don't get that at all, but as I've said before on here, I think that is an overrated song on this board.

I never said I dont like those songs :P ... I love Dry County and These Days! I just asked the question.

And yes... Runaway does bore me.

That's my controversial opinion of the day :D

I enjoy Joey, and most of the Bounce album. It doesnt deserve half the flack it gets!

I find Runnaway boring especially that Shot thru the heart is the better song but not considered by the band that way. I think that also on NJ a Stick to your guns is under rated.

7800 Farenheit is my second favorite album from Bon Jovi, just next to These Days! :p (That's true)

I HATE Diamond Ring. (The only one from These Days that I don't like though)

I think "Stick To Your Guns" is very overrated.
I LOVE Have A Nice Day. Its in my top12 songs.
Also I love the album Have a nice day too. I like Novocaine, Complicated, Dirty Little Secret, I Am etc a lot. Even like Who Says You Can't Go Home on the record(only)

- I hate 'Have A Nice Day'(song).
- I don't like 'Have A Nice Day'(Album).
- 'Dry County' is a little bit overrated.
- Richie's version of 'I'll Be There For You' is better than Jon's.
- 'Blaze Of Glory' is better than 'Stranger In This Town'(Song/Album).
- I hate 'Any Other Day'.
- I don't like 'Sleep When I'm Dead'.
- I like 'Right Side Of Wrong', 'All About Loving You' and 'Joey'.
- 'Bed Of Roses' is much better than 'Always'.
- 'Raise Your Hands' is the best song on 'Slippery When Wet'.

Oh I should also mention...

- Novocaine is my least favourite song from HAND
- All About Lovin You is enjoyable
- Rarely ever listen to Shot Through The Heart.... dont really like it. Much prefer Get Ready, Runaway, She Dont Know Me, Love Lies and especially Roulette.

I agree with Savvi on Wanted Dead or Alive. It's also my 8th favorite from the Slippery When Wet album. I don't get it at all in studio but live it's a much better song ! I also have HAND in my Top 10! And also agree with Thank You For Loving. I think it is better than Always. One song I think is overrated is "Whole Lot Of Leavin". Has to be my least favorit of all Bon Jovis tracks !
