David Bryan - TOXIC AVENGER

Hey, has anyone seen David Bryan's musical adaptation of the Toxic Avenger yet? It seems pretty funny. I found out about it on NYC's 101.9 WRXP's website. They have a video of the interview that David did with fellow Jersey native Matt Pinfield, who hosts the morning show there. Here's a link:

Hope you guys like it! He performs a couple of the songs from the show in there as well.

Some people here have seen it; I unfortunately am not one of them. :(

EDIT: Cheers for the vids! Dave is so awesome. :D

It's funny as hell and very well done. We are taking Kev on Friday night to see it. It's a must see in my opinion.

Definitely great fun! Kev's gonna love it. Do you have tickets in the "slime zone" again? :p

Yeah, I watched one of the previews in New York in March. It was awesome. Sat just out of the slime zone (thank god) and loved it. Didn't think I'd genuinely enjoy it so much, and the bf liked it too.

I don't think Paul would buy tickets anywhere else LOL. We're going tomorrow night - after the 3 hour Circle Line cruise around Manhattan.

I've done that cruise :) I thought the shorter one would have done it, but it was very cool.

Be sure to park Kev in the seat that your son had last time! LOL You better warn him when to cover his beer, though. Slime in a beer might ruin the show for him.

And that cruise around Manhattan sounds great. That's another thing I never wanted to do when I used to only visit NYC in February! Brrrrrrr.

The irony of this popping up is that I just saw it Wed. night. It was friggin spectacular. Was honestly the funniest show I've ever seen on or off Broadway, and believe me I've seen a lot. And unbelievably filthy as well, not that there's anything wrong with that.
