A long time ago...

... in a poll far, far away.

I did a poll to get the best BJ album out of all the studio albums.

This was the result:

1. Hey God (32%)
2. Keep The Faith (51%)
3. Livin' On A Prayer (66%)
4. These Days (53%)
5. Wanted Dead Or Alive (43%)
6. Any Other Day (32%)
7. Dry County (72%)
8. I'd Die For You (37%)
9. Never Say Goodbye (28%)
10. Something To Believe In (42%)
11. Novocaine (32%)
12. One Wild Night (39%)
13. Dirty Little Secret - Bonus (21%)
14. Save A Prayer - Bonus (22%)

It was done by choosing the best track 1 from all the albums, the best track 2 and so on. I was actually suprised as to how well it came out and whilst impossible to include everyones favourite songs it did have something for everyone.

I am interested to know how this holds up now. Some people new to the board may not have seen this before and even if you have what do you think now?

If you passed this CD to a non BJ fan would it show a different side to the band as some of the tracks here are not that known to the casual listener.

If the tracklist order was changed a bit I'd definatly hand that to the casual fan and force them to listen to it.

Only thing I'd add is Bad Name.

I'll be honest, as much as I love pretty much every track up there, I don't know how well that would translate to a casual fan.

Might change opinion in thinking they are just a pop/rock band etc.

That's an interesting idea, I might do that actually...

Yeah, that is a great list. I remember this poll, th only thing that surprised me then, and still does now is how no New Jersey tracks got onto the list. :scramble:

This is the poll I mentioned the Matrix latest poll posts... Your poll above was the one we did not so long ago, was it last year ?... and I think it was the best overall poll that has ever been on the forums. It represents us Jters well. :D
