Richie mislead us surprise surprise. According to the blog on the official site The Circle is the name of the album.I think We Weren't Born To Follow would be a better title.My opinion of the song is irrelevant because I can take it or leave it based on my experience with single choices.I am as some say a die hard but I know enough to not fall at their feet.When I was young it was different.I have been a fan for 22 years now and I don't see it changing anytime soon.My least favorite album is Crush which I stated in an earlier post.I also am not saying I want another SWW or NJ but a harder edged sound would please me a whole lot more.

I will admit I listen to the music of those crap people or bands and I won't apologize for it. People's opinions are just that.I have a young daughter who is a fan so I kinda have an excuse.I enjoy different types of music.I am even slowly converting her into a fan.

The band has had an impact on many of us and many deal with the good and the bad.Seeing When We Were Beautiful gave me new respect for them. I am and always will be a Jovi girl.To those to want to abandon the band now or say we shouldn't listen to the band because of songs like WWBTF then I say Don't Let The Door Hit You on the way out.

I don't know what kind of music do these guys listen to, but they have no idea what rock is. That song ain't rock. It doesn't even have a guitar solo.

Who the hell screams "guitar!" when there's not a guitar solo coming after it? Or they consider that to be a solo? Wtf... though it's possible he doesn't say "guitar", I'm not sure, ha.

(Anyway, I wouldn't expect greater "riff rock" songs on the album, considering the most riff oriented song they have made lately is "I wanna be loved"... and that one rock soooooooooo hard.)

I like it. I had a way more positive reaction to this than when I first heard LH. I'm looking forward to the new album, which is being released on my birthday:)

Uhm...listening to the single right now.

Actually, I really, really like it.

It's not world changing sure....and it should have a guitar solo but we all know full well Richie just doesn't do them anymore.

While it has a similar feel to HAND (producer's fault I think) I think ultimately, it's a far, far better song. The lyrics are more intricate, and I'm loving Jon's almost growling vocals.

I certainly don't think it's an IML clone the way HAND definitely was.

Time to give it a second listen.

And then probably a 3rd :p
