Best cover since Keep The Faith I say!

What colours?

TBoy 10-03-2009 03:30 AM

Actually if you look better at the cover that "hole" behind the band is the light, so they are bringing the light in the dark... Just like the light emitting from the Daves hand, etc...

samus88 10-03-2009 03:59 AM

Oh, great. The best Bon Jovi album cover since KTF, and it's probably going to be my least fav album... damn it.

I love the cover.

slippery89 10-03-2009 04:28 AM

So the band is walking away from the light and into the darkness??I like it. I want some dark cool sounds coming out of Richie.

ugly_queen_from_mars 10-03-2009 04:48 AM

they seem like walking inside a giant sewer :/
wondering whether tha means a shitty album?

Javier 10-03-2009 04:52 AM

love the cover.....

superkid 10-03-2009 05:42 AM

I like it 8)

ticos_stick 10-03-2009 05:47 AM

I'm liking the darkness, lets hope the album is full of mean dirty sounds to complement the cover.

Supersonic 10-03-2009 05:58 AM

Aloha !

Nice how the single artwork once again has nothing to do with the actual cover of the CD. Don't they ever learn?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Crushgen24/88 10-03-2009 06:42 AM

I like the darkness and the font a lot, but in general it's just okay. Liked the WWBTF art much better honestly.

Have you ever learned anything?

Last three major releases, Single and album artwork very much related.

i just think its a dark cover for hopefully a dark album. I still think this album will be all about WFTWM. Will be its shining light with a heavy overtone.

Jon is very proud of it.

What does that matter?

rolo_tomachi 10-03-2009 03:03 PM

The cover is GREAT. I hope that will not change this cover, I really like.

Not to sound negative, but Jon is proud of everything he does right before it's release. Hell, he insisted Lost Highway was the greatest song he ever wrote.

Having everything you release at a certain era makes people recognize it. People who will see the advert for the new album will never associate it with the picture of the single.

Sebastiaan

RSROCKS 10-03-2009 03:33 PM

You can't judge a book by its cover.

There's nothing special about Slippery's, New Jersey's of These Days album covers but we all know how much we like the music on them...

Irishshin 10-03-2009 03:34 PM

Love this cover.
Very different to what I was expecting.

Sensible comments have no place here!

I like the cover of The Circle very much! Now letīs hope the same is with the songs on it!

kenobi_on_a_prayer 10-03-2009 04:33 PM

Great cover but I made a couple of little improvements.:p

hackster73 10-03-2009 04:34 PM

Why the hell are they wearing sun glasses in a bloody tunnel?

The thing is the album is called 'The Circle' it is not called 'The Sewer Pipe'

I hope the songs are better than the s**t found in sewer pipes.

Why a sewer pipe?

Sunglasses are worn to cover up wrinkles, takes years off ;)

Well, that's a couple of circles all right. But mine has the old school Jovi font so I win.:p

Matrix15 10-03-2009 04:49 PM

I wondered why they chose a sewer pipe too...

mrleaf 10-03-2009 04:52 PM

Perhaps its this but in black and white and if someone could photo shop a cut out of the band it should look Greathttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...oney_Tunes.png

hackster73 10-03-2009 04:55 PM

The cover just looks a bit lame to me

Yeah, I agree. It's just boring. I was hoping the old font would be used. It just isn't what I was expecting.

Brklyn94 10-03-2009 05:03 PM

Likenesses to sewers aside, I actually think that's the best cover of the decade (except for the Crush cover, I liked it =D)....what happened to the huddle one though?

Matrix15 10-03-2009 05:18 PM

When the covers a bitter pill to swallow, you've got to hold onto what you believe. :p

Thierry 10-03-2009 05:35 PM

As long the music is better than the cover I'm not complaining :D.

RS8MB0R8 10-03-2009 05:56 PM

I don't see what's wrong with the cover tbh. It's modern and exudes a feeling of stylistic promise for the upcoming album.

Wasn't the SWW cover a black bin bag with water sprayed on it? The tunnel they're in may actually be something like a dam spillway rather than a sewer methinks. ;)

Crush is rubbish. Bounce is probably the best (IMO).

The artwork for Crush was pretty good actually. There was nothing like it at that time, and it could've been used a lot, lot more. It was a great idea but wasn't used to its full extend.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

True.

A few artists copied the artwork too.

KeepTheFaith2211 10-03-2009 09:23 PM

Nothing really wrong with it. Certainly better than many of the preceeding album's covers.

BonJovi100 10-03-2009 09:32 PM

Cover is really amazing. Probably one of their best (KTF/Circle/Bounce/HAND).

It's a little drk and a little mystic. I love it.

Crushgen24/88 10-03-2009 09:53 PM

I still think best cover of this decade's albums is Crush.
