Although please don't let it take 3 weeks like oli has..

Today marks mine and Bruce's first month anniversary.

So it's actually been 4 weeks :p

just got back from ACDC yesterday. Amazing live band, played for exactly 2 hours. The rain and thunder was pretty bad... It was pouring like it was a hurricane, but they kept chugging along. In between songs they had to dry off the guitars and stage though... Anyway, along with green day and Bon jovi, they're in my top 3 live acts. Amazing, although I didn't expect anything less.

Oh and it was my first outdoor concert... 73,250 people... Completely sold out.

I only saw them 2 times in 2 halls capable of around 9000 people.
They indeed keep rocking. 2 hours with the age they have and still hardly any other band of their generation lives up to that.

I still get a good feeling when I think back of those concerts I seen from them.
My list is Bruce springsteen, close followed by AC/DC and then Bon Jovi because the first 2 give all of themselves at any concert and Jon can get lazy ;)

Good to read you had a good time :)
Next year final tour i heard...

I salute you,
TS

great band,Highway to Hell for me is their best album,i prefer Bon to Brian too,saw them at the O2,got there early and was front row, show was great but i thought the band were missing 'something',some kind of spark, still enjoyed it though.Airbourne (the 'new' AC/DC) were far better at Manchester academy, totally rocked the joint, amazing band.

how true is this? If so i'd like to go see them before its too late

A neighbour of mine was a stagebuilder of AC/DC at the Dutch concerts. He heard that next year AC/DC will tour once more and that the Stones also will start (another) farewell tour.
It isn't confirmed anywhere yet I already thought this would be the last your of AC/DC.

So do not cling on to it, I just heard it from a stagebuilder :)

I salute you,
TS

I've never liked airbourne... Actually I cant stand them. First time I heard too much too fast (or whatever it's called) I thought "wow, ACDC certanly have dropped their standards" and then I found out it wasn't ACDC and it all made sence.
