Classic Rock Mag this month
have reviewed Bon Jovi at a festival last month.
They opened it like they did 25 years ago. I forget the name of the festival but Kiss headlined. The reason for the post is that they preveiwed some new material and Classic Rock mag say they have a new song called Last Band Standing? surley this is Last Man Standing and they got the song title wrong? if not then Last Band Standing is a new track of the new album. ps I subsribe so I get the mag a week early - it hits the shops next week. |
found this - the festival was summerfest and clearly the song was Last Man Standing..
Glad All Over” (Dave Clark Five cover) “You Give Love a Bad Name” “Lost Highway” “Born to Be My Baby” “Runaway” “Last Man Standing” “Raise Your Hands” “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” “(You Want To) Make a Memory” “Whole Lot of Leavin’ ” “Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night” “We Got It Going On” “It’s My Life” “I’ll Be There For You” “Summertime” “Have a Nice Day” “Keep the Faith” “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” “Bad Medicine”/”Shout” (Isley Brothers cover) – “Wanted Dead or Alive” “I Love This Town” “Livin’ On a Prayer” |
Summerfest has a headline act on the big Marcus Amphitheater stage each night of the festival. (This year the festival was 11 days, if I remember correctly.) Bon Jovi was the headline act the first night. KISS was on night 3. (Just wanted to clarify that Jovi didn't open for KISS.)
And unfortunately, they didn't do any new songs. Did Classic Rock really think LMS was new? |
yeah but they thought it was a new song called Last Band Standing!!!
