Firstly, that wasn't what I wrote. I wrote, "SOME of its full.....". Secondly, how is that fawning when it followed a harsh criticism of the production of the song?

I'm sorry but you just aren't carrying your argument at all. Maybe you just don't know what it means to fawn?

Now despite that, personally I do like a polished, modern sound and I think John Shanks can capture that while mainting a rock sound very well. Have a Nice Day and Last Man Standing are two great examples. Here though the balance isn't achieved 7/10

Completely agree with this review, especially the production part. Have a Nice Day and Last Man Standing are modern songs, but they rock, We Weren't Born To Follow doesn't, it's more on the pop side. There's so much more potential for this song, especially the name sounds rebellious and suggest a more rocking sound.

Absolute radio have a no repeat guarantee on songs through out the day, but the DJ just said that they have had loads and loads of request for Bon Jovi to be played again, he said that it will be played again tonight, so I think the response had been good so far.

It's a piece of shit. 9.5/10

Uh-huh. Yeah, nice review. You really got across why it's 'a piece of shit'. You may not like it, which is fine, but simply to say it's a piece of shit as an "objective review" makes you sound like an idiot.

Or were you trying to be witty? Either way, you sound like an idiot.

Why can't you just discuss the merits of the song without arrogant, childish shit like this?

I think this is one of the rare times I have ever agreed with a critic on Bon Jovi. They usually do get an unfair wrap but they deserve it for this dookie.

That's fantastic news. Hopefully it builds up some momentum and catches on.

Sometimes Bon Jovi forgets that there are longtime fans out there who actually aren't as hard to please as they come off.

Yeah Yeah Yeah

Lyrically the song is very, very good. The lyrics are intelligent, socially conscious, relevant to the times, optimistic and overall very well written.
