About an hour after the second tweet above, Shanks posted this:

"its all about the song"

After that is when it went into the Miley stuff. But now he's posted this:

"richie has a lot of great solos on this new bonjovi record"

And I now think the Miley stuff was because her new CD was being released today. Like I said -- hmmm. Reading tea leaves is easier than figuring out what people are saying on Twitter!

your doing a good job Terri , t hanks :D

Radio edits have always been a very common thing, but radio edits have never been about taking out stuff like guitar solo's. Shortening them, yes. Taking them out, no.

Well like I said, I thought Richie's guitar part was cut out a little. Whether or not you consider it a guitar solo as it is now is up to you.

Bon Jovi - We Were Born To Follow (single review)

I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't conflicted about the lead single from Bon Jovi's 11th album, The Circle . I love pop music. I love pop music. It makes you feel good and gives you a brief high (much like chocolate chip pancakes), but what happens when that high wears off? There is a reason that the catalogs of Led Zeppelin, the Beatles and Guns N' Roses continue to sell by the millions every year because even decades after they were released, people are discovering the intricate beauty of their music because these were acts who forged their own sound, didn't play by the rules and defiled the status quo. I Think that he makes some good points in this review

Many fans do not stop thinking about the same, because Bon Jovi is repeated? because not it evolves? I hate to say but the answer is easy, $$$$$$$

I just hope the new album has 3 or 4 decent songs, and that in future the band gets the message and make real rock.

I don't think you can fit 304 songs on a single disc.

In that review he mentions songs that "moved his soul" but he forgets one major point. Not one of those was a major lead single from an album.

We all know there are going to be better album tracks than We Weren't Born To Follow.

That's what I was thinking.

An Audio CD can only hold 80 minutes

I hope to God you are right, but it's still not that fantastic a reflection on them or this album to have a lead single that so many find so ... disposable
