It was officially said that the new single would hit radio stations on 31st August! it some how got translated on here that the single was released to everyone on the 31st :S

Even though it is weird as the song seems to have hit radio stations over here ages before it was meant to.

Wasn't it Shanks who said August 31? And I think he meant when the single is released in stores, not radio. Because I'm pretty sure Obie was saying it would hit airwaves "next week" the week before we first heard it on radio. It sticks out for me because it's one of the few useful answers he's given.:p

After a few weeks quite out of the loop (ah, holidays!) I've just found out a lot of things, such as the new album's name and that there was already a new single out there.

After listening to it a couple of times after really liking the title itself, I must say I quite like the song. It's not great or anything, but I do like the lyrics and it's catchy. So I'm happy with my 'surprise' :)

Now tell me that would not be sweet to have after the so called 'guitar' call!

That shouldn't be the case since Richie is co-writer and co-producer of their stuff...

I myself think that the song is OK, seems to be the norm for most songs post 2000, i myself would like to hear new material alonf the likes of BTBMB, BM, WITW etc but have come to except that this is the type of music we will get from the boys:confused:. I think we should hold out and see what the album brings as CRUSH, BOUNCE, HAND and LH all turned out to be very good albums with some very good and classic BJ song!!!!

Looking at the list of recently played songs on a local radio station website, WWBTF was played 3 times since midnight last night. Not bad!

The station premired the song last Thursday at the 5 PM hour to some high praise. They even announced they were going to play it hours in advance. Regardless of what one may feel about the song, I think it's awesome that even in 2009, playing a new Bon Jovi song is cause for an announcement.

I cant understand why everyone is complaining so much without hearing the rest of the album. The new single is a good song that will get some much needed radio time for the band and its as good if not beter than most songs on the radio at the moment. If it has a good video then it will be a success like IML and HAND. I also think the band wrote the song because of how populer btbmb was on the LH tour.id definatly say wwbtf will be very populer when sang live.

i listened to absolute for 2 hours last night and got to hear, Bad Name and WWBTF! Awesome station

Its weird I cant seem to remember the tune WWBTF , even though it sounds catchy when I listen to it , it just doesnt stay with me.... :(

My sister heard WWBTF on the radio this morning on her way to work (96FM). First time Ive heard of it being played on the radio airwaves down here! :D

Yeah! I loved hearing Whole Lot of Leavin on the radio! Ive heard them play Something for the Pain as well! Same with Ill Sleep When Im Dead.

Between 96FM and Mix 94.5, youll sometimes get the odd Jovi play (other than the usual hits). Lost Highway also got some play during the Lost Highway tour.

Prayer, Bad Name, Bad Medicine, HAND, IML, Wanted WLOL, Lost Highway, Something for the Pain, Ill Sleep When Im Dead, KTF, Bed Of Roses... ive heard all of these one time or another. Surprisingly never heard Always though!

I have, but I think the last time would have been a couple of years ago.

I always get excited to hear a Jovi song on radio, even if it's one I don't like that much.:p

I wouldn't be suprised if MLB just took random shots of Jon out of the WWBTF video and mixed it with baseball shots. There's no doubt in my mind that the band will be in the upcoming video.

I don't know how anyone else feels, but I think it's really cool to own this single on actual disc. The last single I was able to get in the US was This Ain't A Love Song. I'm old school in that way I guess.
