Bon Jovi's Heaviest Album
For me its Bounce followed by 7800.... two of the least liked Jovi albums!
So when people say they want a heavy/hard album from the band, what exactly do they want? The four loved albums from the 80s and 90s had hints of heaviness eg If I Was Your Mother and Stick To Your Guns, but as a whole album, they werent really that heavy. Thoughts? |

I don't want heavy, I want rock. I want SWW or NJ. Not country pop. Bon Jovi were never heavy.

Heaviest are some tracks of Bounce.
The heaviest hard rock song is If I Was Your Mother for me. Soundwise the heaviest 80s album is NJ. It's my favourite forever and i love this metallic drums and big guitars |
Keep the Faith, in my opinion.

Totally agree:
Bounce & 7800 tend to be 'heavier' and are the least good. Heavy doesn't fit Jovi that much. The only 'heavy' BJ has are the looks in the 80'ies that were similar to lots of heavy bands. Sometimes they use heavy influences in their music which works great, but basiscally BJ have always been writing 'guitar based poppy & catchy' songs. And let's be honest... do you want them to come out with something that sounds like NEW Jersey???? It's a great album and it sounded great when it came out, but producing that kind of songs with that kind of sound today would be a little pathetic. Basically, doing such thing is the reason why bands like Def Leppard, Poison, Europe and other of their fellow bands in the 80's didn't make it through the 90's and 00's. |
