Jon Bon Jovi and Meat Loaf?

Around the 1:25 mark on the video Meat Loaf starts naming the writers for his upcoming album. About 1:35 he says Jon Bon Jovi is a writer.

I haven't heard about this before. I'm curious if it's a new song Jon wrote with/for Meat or if it's something that was left off of a previous album? Sorry if this is old news but it was new to me and I wanted to share in case no one has heard about it.

In the event that it is old news, does anyone have any more info about it?

Well he gives the date of the interview as a few days ago so I'd assume he's recording a new album and that Jon has written a song (or more?) for it!

I do recall Meat saying he wanted Richie to work on the last record with him (Bat III) but probably due to him breaking his wrist/being drunk/going through a divorce or whatever it didnt pan out. Maybe JBJ and/or Richie still have a song they are going to give to Mr Loaf.. hope so, could be interesting.

That would be great. It's been a while since Jon wrote songs for other artists. I've often wondered why he hasn't let more songs be recorded by others. I always enjoyed hearing other people record songs he'd written or cowritten with Richie or whomever else he worked with.

Yep his voice is really gone.

Probably it was Desmond Child who made the connection between Jon and Meat, as he was the producer of Bat 3.

I think it was 'Nothing' for bo bice...
