Fear
Wot a bloody damn fine tune. I played KTF from start to finish for the 1st time in god knows how many years today and for some reason FEAR just blew me away, great aggresive vocal performance by jon, crunchin guitar, thumpin drums, wot else can i say. Would love somthin that aggresive on " the circle". Also got turned on to LBOS what a jam that is to to end the record.:p

It's a great rocking track, and like If I was your mother, it doesn't need great lyrics to be amazing, I mean, it's proper rock man :D |
I Love it too. Proper rock and roll there.
And I love the lyrics too, especially the part "You ain't one for taking chances You work and live and breathe that 9 to 5; Still that's what you call living That's surviving to me, and surviving is living to die in Fear " Awesome :D |
Great. And it's so great rock'n'roll that it don't even need the solo and you still know that boys are rocking hard on this one.

What an immense song! Keep The Faith is such a great heavy rock album, with lyrics that really mean something (for the most part anyway ... no one ever accused Woman In Love, Sleep When I'm Dead, or Blame It On The Love of being at all deep).

Always loved the song, just as I love the whole KTF album. Best rock songs the bands produced imo. Its great vocals by jon and it rocks when your in the car.

I love the song too. I remember being in college and whenever I had a bad day, I'd drive around with the windows down blasting that song. I heard an interview with Jon once and he talked about how in life you're either motivated by love or by fear and that's what he was thinking about when he wrote the song.

Wasn't that keen on 'Fear' at the time, but I would give my left bollock to hear them do something like it now.
It says more in the space of 3 minutes, than a lot of their songs do lately. |
With the exception of Woman In Love, there isn't a song I skip on Keep The Faith. This is the album that got me into the band and I so wish they would work with Bob Rock again so they can remember how they used to rock!

Fear is awesome! I love the bridge the best. One of my favourite from KTF. But then again, a lot of songs from KTF are my favourite
With the exception of Woman In Love and Little Bit of Soul, I wouldnt skip a track. |
