the dry county that i have is over nine minutes long, and it has sambora's solo... and that must be the original.... i have seen videos without the solos.. but as far as i know... the cd has his solo... unless there exists another even longer song with even greater solo

THere is a radio edit or they have at least played a radio edit live before for TV promo which didnt feature both solo's i dont think...but it was simply an edit as 10 minute songs dont sit on the radio to well :D

The radio edit contained both solo's, but both were shortened.

Yeah, if that's the one on the Cross Road video/Dry County single, it has a shortened second solo, shortened bridge before the solo, misses the entire second pre-chorus and a shortened outro - they butchered it! :(

I have the dry county 'golden edition' cd single I think it is called. Anyway, it sounds better than the album version. And the solos are the same length. The major difference is there seems to be a second guitar in the background of the second solo...
