Member stop
Dudes and dudettes,
I've seen so many shitty posts by newbies. It's getting annoying, and I'd like to opt for a member stop for a few months to see if we can get Dry County back on full speed. What do you think? |
Meh, I know it's annoying but after the albums out I'm sure it'll get back on track by itself. By not letting people join, then those who are genuinely interested in discussing Jovi will unfairly miss out becuase of some childish individuals. Perhaps been stricter with spammers is the answer but i don't think stopping anyone from joining is constructive, it might even cause the community to shrink.

I dislike shit getting flung around just as much as the next person, but I'm not gonna actually opt for a member ban for this time o' the season...I mean, doesn't this kind of thing happen every time there's a new album coming?
If so, well, it must always cool down in-between albums, cos things weren't even remotely as heated as they are now when I joined just a few months ago. |

no one likes the tourist season...but it serves its purpose and often after a new album has been out we do gain valuable members.
I think there should be suspensions for naughtiness ! :p Dawn |

Meh, it doesn't REALLY bother me. (I actually closed my eyes and picked a vote) Most aren't returning anyway...
|
I agree with the suspensions

It's just wouldn't be fair. It's a free messageboard, that's we're all here. btw it's one of the few BJ forums where the music is still relevant and not the looks. Maybe there is some heat now but there are still some new members that are really interested to do some decent discussion. We're here to discuss and not to say yes and amen to everything. So I guess it's good when there is some dissension.
There is just a problem of acceptance. When the record is out it will calm down again... |
